AMPS 232 today. Just took one try for his test this morning- yay! I had the automated feeder open at around 1:30 last night (would have been at +7) for a snack, and there was still some food in it when I woke up for AMPS, so I'm not exactly sure when he last ate. I would have thought he'd have finished it all closer to the time when it first opened, but I can't be sure. So I'm hoping that 232 isn't just a food number since I have to leave for work in an hour and a half. Next time I won't put as much food in there.

I won't be able to do as much of a curve tonight as I did last night, but I should be able to get a +3.

Hi Monica,

I caught your condo the other day when the vet had you up the dose and I am so happy to see you decided to back off that for a few days.

Atticus looks to be doing outstanding! And you are too! :razz:

What I do with my timed feeder is there is a late evening snack available, but I set the chambers to rotate one last time to an empty slot about 2 hours before normal preshot. When I open the feeder in the morning or after work, I know if he ate, how much, and appx. when he at last.

Beth, thanks! After that 2 unit day, the vet and I got on the same page and she agreed to the fat one unit for at least a week. I was going to do that regardless, but I'm glad she realized it, too.

My automated feeder is just the two-compartment kind that flips the lid open. Once it's open, it stays open until I reset it. I hate to keep buying more stuff, but maybe I should get the other kind.

You may want to check around on e-bay for the PetMate 5 Chamber Feeder. I picked mine up slightly used for about half price.

And it is no hurry, it was only a suggestion.
