1-24-20(Yesterday) Good morning! I hope everyone has a beautiful day. Kitties be good and surf safely:D:cool:

Running low on strips...testing has been sporadic at best. Well this means I/we get to go out into the rainy/snowy mess. Thank goodness the temps are warm enough that the snow isn't sticking. Just have to deal with heavily salted roads:eek: Salt is a car's worst enemy. We try to avoid it at all costs. Oh well, that's where a water hose comes in handy:p Moey's gotta have his strips:cat:

You're a great Mama Briere, braving the snowy rain and salt for your little Moey!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Stay safe on the beach till your Mama gets back Moey, then you can go swimming!!:D

Oh, I do remember those days of forever chasing strips with disdain. That's why I switched to the subscription service with the OneDrop - essentially as good as any other human meter and the strip subscription helps me keep my sanity. I think the last straw for me was when I'd make the trip to Walmart only to be told they were out of stock - that was when the Relion meter I was using was being phased out and they weren't stocking the strips in the darn stores - I decided at that point since I had to switch anyway I'd try to find someone who could send me the strips so I wasn't constantly having to chase around for them - between the bad weather up north and the crazy traffic here in Florida I just don't have the wherewithal for that game...something to think about for next time.

I hope you have the car cleaned off and got all the strips stocked up :) Have a great evening Briere!

for a second I thought it read “salt is a cats worst enemy” and I thought- “ I didn’t know that!”

spring is around that corner.

I still wonder why they got rid of that Relion meter. It’s Confirm right? When I contacted the company they said “oh it’s because we made a newer version of it”
But.
The Confirm took .3 u of blood and the Prime that replaced it takes .5... and that .5 was a big difference- enough that I had to go back to Freestyle.
Never understood why companies make decisions like that.
I wonder if it’s so they can have something to market next time around “now only takes .3 units of blood!” when they already had a machine that did that, just not the Prime.
