Good Morning, Everyone,
Getting a late start. It was so cold this morning (-20 here at our house; -30 at the weather station!) that we kept all the window quilts and thermal curtains closed and it was dark. I fell asleep reading and didn't wake up for 2 1/2 hours! I guess I'm in hibernation mode!! So is Rusty. He took his nap in his little bed by the radiator and never even came over to schmooze. Anyway, we all had a good night. Rusty in his usual place between his beans. He ate all his nighttime food and this morning dashed down the stairs, jumped up on his test spot, had a good test, then a good breakfast (1st sitting) and a good shot. Then over to the radiator. We just opened the quilts and window shades and there is brilliant sunshine on the snow, but it is COLD! He's calling for me at the moment, so I'll go down and comb him and play with him (of course he will not come upstairs during the day--reason unknown!)
Linda's Pinkerton is supposed to come home today. She was optimistic in her post last night about how well he was doing, so we hope that all will go well and that Pinky can be comfortable in his "confinement": cone collar and crate. Lots of vines of strength to Linda today, and lots of healing vines to Pinky.
Wishing you all a good Fursday, and continuing to send healing vines to all our kitties and beans needing some.
