I’m telling you again you need those +2’s or at least feed then. That’s a big enough drop by +3 to cause a bounce.
 
Sorry I know you mentioned a +1 or +2 for Missy... but I didnt realize it was also recommened for Rufus as well. He doesnt usually dive like Missy. Im still trying to determine what a big drop is number wise.

I always feed them both 2-3 times in the first 3 hours. I did give a little 8% to both at +3
 
Since lantus kicks in at +2 for many cats if it’s lower than the pretest he made got drop fast. Most have a food bump at +1 so it would be good to see when he onsets. It will come in handy if he starts lower. I guess fir a +3 that’s not too big a drop. Looks like he has an early nadir.
 
PM+4 gave a tsp of 9% with his meal and I will get up at +6 to feed him. > Rufus sleeps though the night unless I wake him up to eat o_O.
