Good Morning LL! After an ok start yesterday, Muffin decided to bounce and surf the pinks. Broke the bounce in the evening, tho, and had a lovely green night. And still in green this morning! :thumbup It's been way too long since we've seen this. (I don't count the green streak on the trip, since that was most likely due to lack of fuds.) It's now obvious to me that the pred she was on for her p'tits flare was not what was causing the bounces. She had her last dose of that last Wednesday, so it's been a week without it now and still the bounces. It occurred to me last night that maybe the insulin is toast. I've been using the same vial I got back in September when she had the last flare. Since she is finally back in green, tho, I'm going to wait and see if she bounces today or tonight, and if she does, I'll get new insulin tomorrow. I think I'd like to try that before upping her dose. With all the bouncing she's been doing, I have learned more about her. She definitely feels better when she's in normal numbers - and I can see the difference.

:o Sure didn't expect that! Assumed she'd be bouncing by now. I think she knows I have plans today :lol: Ex is supposed to take me out to lunch today. Fed her a slice and a half of honey ham and some LC. I know it will take 2 hours to hit her - it always does. So I'm going to try not to overdo the carbs.

Morning guys, I hear ya on feeling better in normal numbers, it amazes me how different Scrabble acts when he is lower. Wow and you were just complaining about numbers and look a 39! Figures you have plans. Hope you can get her to surf safely. have a great day!

+2.5 39. Hasn't budged, as expected. Offered LC, but she's not interested. Of course she has to drop right after she's had all her breffis. Next test I'll add a drop of karo to the fuds and see if she will eat it then. If not, more honey ham! :lol:

Michelle - Muffin's normally (or her old norm) usually in good numbers if she's not sick, so I've never noticed her feeling different. With all the bouncing, I've had the opportunity to see her behaviors side by side, and there sure is a difference. Seems when she's too low, tho, she acts similar to when she's too high.

Dyana - That I did, and she must have! :lol: And she's already on her way up, I just hope I can keep her there.

Ella - Yep, reducie indeed. She's already working on coming up - she's listening to you! I feed her a little more honey ham or karo LC to keep her up so I can go for a couple hours.

Just 2 hours, Muffin, that's all I need!

Dyana - I don't have to leave at all, if that what Muffin requires. Other than that, I'll go as soon as Muffin is safe. Maybe I can turn this free meal into a dinner? :lol: ;-) I told him yesterday when he invited me that it depended on Muffin, and I've had to bail out or change plans with him before because of FD, so he's no stranger to this and knows that she comes first. A 65 would be lovely!

Stubborn little thing, she is. Surfing, so I'm not going to force the fuds issue right now, or add any more carbs. She is slow to respond, and I don't want her to skyrocket from it all. Ex understands and is fine with a late lunch or early dinner type of thing, so no real rush. Getting lots of Kibby cuddles sitting here at the computer - he's on my lap.

Wow, Anne, I'd say your vial is still good! :lol: Congrats on the reducie. I used my last vial for four months + 2 days. I would have used it longer, but I was at the bottom of the barrel. Way to go Muffin! :mrgreen:

Somehow I missed +5 :oops: but +5.5 is 67, so late lunch is looking possible. I'll get a +6 and hopefully will be able to go.

Sorry you had to delay your lunch, but nice that the ex understands. Beautiful surf for Miss Muffin, I'm glad she's getting back to normal.

+10 113. Nice, not much of a bounce so far. We'll see what pmps is, and if she's gone up a lot, I'll probably shoot thru the bounce and reduce in the am. If she's just going up slowly, I'll take her down to .1u tonight.

Wendy - Thank you, I did. I'm stuffed! :lol: That she was, and that's how she does things - when she's done with a dose, she's done with it. :lol:

Michelle - So glad she did this in the daytime for a change! And still did let me get out. Everyone who knows me knows how important the furkids are to me. Definitely a reduction this time. Will wait to see if she's got a big bounce going by pmps or not, and then will either shoot thru it tonight, or reduce tonight.

Ann - Yes, the ex was fine with it....and this way, I don't have to worry about dinner! :lol: I hope this means that she's settled back in to her normal routines and her normal life.

Pmps 133 I went ahead and took the reduction to .1u, as it doesn't really look like she's bouncing...yet anyway.
