OK, sorry I am screaming here...this is crazy...I am so frustrated. Really? What the heck am I doing wrong, should I have stayed at 1.4, 1.2?

His +6 is 322? What is going on with him? You're not using expired insulin too, are you? Poor Mickey. He's really having a time of it.

LOL, no, after I saw your post I checked mine it expires 5/12

I think that before dropping back again, maybe try a couple days at 1.8u. If still no improvement maybe go down to 1.2 for a few days with the understanding that if that doesn't show results you should go straight back up to 1.8u. That would be my opinion. I hope we see some good numbers!!
