Yellow ruled the roost yesterday - fairly even, but still yellow. Last night I started a new pen - we shall see if that makes a difference in Mannie's numbers. If not, then I think a dosecrease will be in order. It's just been way too long since he has seen any significant blues, and even a green for that matter. I like this mornings amps - looks promising! :-D OK Mannie... let's roll! Blues and greens, OK? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had sun yesterday!!!! :razz: :razz: It was COLD, but there was SUN! :cool: Mannie was so excited - meowing at the door to go outside. :-D :-D Not just once, but four or five times. :lol: :lol: That was just too funny... the nose would poke through the door opening, sniffs were taken, and then the BOLT across the deck, down the stars to the green of the grass. :razz: Everything was checked - perimeter security reinforced. One happy kitty out there. :cool: :cool: I lost count on the number of times that he made the rounds - it must have made him very happy to see his yard without all that white stuff.... I could have sworn I saw his happy dance out on the lawn.... :cool: :cool: :razz: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Still no kitty choir, or the whack-a-thons. Though we were so close on the whack-a-thon last night: they had "that look", but never raised the paws. Hmmmmmm...maybe there is hope! :lol: :lol: Normalcy in MannieLand

Have a great day everyone! Clean the house day today - woo hoo! Bet you are all jealous! It was suppose to travel to town today, but my friend had to cancel - year-end for her, and way too busy.So we wait til next week. :-D

Beautiful AMPS for Mannie today! But uh oh on the dosecrease threat. You got that Mannie? Mama bean thinks you look better in green and we agree.

I bet he was excited to get out in the yard again and have all that white wet cold stuff gone. So much to do to get everything back in order. :lol: I bet he was happy dancing all over the yard.

House cleaning, yay! I sure like it when it is done. Have a ton of fun and don't clean the nanners too much.

Wow, green grass! Rusty is waiting patiently for his yard to "open up". It won't be for quite a while! Today we have ice on everything. Ugh.
House-cleaning day--always a pleasure to see the results; it's just the part that precedes the results!
Mannie is starting out well today and I'll bet you'll see green on this cycle. Good luck with the new pen. I hope it does the job. But if not, there's always the "threat".

Mannie, the dunes sound perfect for today. All we have here is sloppy ice, bumpy ice, and rotten snow. I so want to sit in the sun and slide on the dunes. See ya later,

Gee, last week, Mannie could have grabbed a few friends and come skated on the pond....now it's all smushy.
I always worry that the deer, or little critters, don't know the ice is melting, and crash thru.

Hi Melissa - Thanks, so agreed on the amps. I hope to see a great cycle this morning. Right Mannie? And yes - he was so happy to feel grass on his paws... We still have a few spots that have lingering snow, but the rest is back to normal. A bit soggy, but normal. :cool: -- LOL on cleaning the nanners too much, He hates it when I do that, so I have to be careful... one does not mess with the stash - he is always night there to make sure one does not. :roll: :lol:

Hi Ella - oh bummer on the ice on everything. omg... I'd rather have snow any day. Ice is such a bummer, and so hard to get around on. Mannie was so happy to see green grass again. It was like he couldn't get enough. :lol: :lol: He said he'd pack up a section and send it to Rusty. :shock: -- and thanks on the cycle, pen etc - I do so hope to see things back in the blues and the greens!

Morning Linda - I dunno! maybe I should check that - do a comparison: before and after BG tests. :lol: He so does love the outdoors - one can just see the happy.

Hi Barb - right you are on the perspective thing. that is so true! I remember the days, and Mannie still has them, where the amps were always, daily, less than desired. I keep hoping that ting will settle, for both our furkids. and yes on the pond and last week! Everything was iced up - all the ponds... now its 50/50. her ya on the critters too. -- thanks on the pen - hoping for a dip into the greens today. :-D

Michelle, maybe the new pen is the answer to Mannie's numbers. Nice blues there for starters. So cute with Mannie enjoying his outdoor time. Still no whack-a-thons yet, huh. Maybe in time! Oh no, housecleaning day. You could always sneak away for a Peppermint White Mocha, too! Sorry your friend had to cancel.

Hi Tracy - yep, most of our snow is all gone... at least in the lowlands. Temps are in the 38/470 range, no new snow on the horizon, yet. yep, he was one happy kitty to have a snow free yard. :lol: -- and yep: so he ahs been told. I hope he has listened!

Hi Devon - thx, me too on the pen. so far it seems to be - better numbers last night and today. LOL on your girls and the wild. That is cute.

Hi Roni - thX! and me too! love these numbers today - maybe it was the pen.... a big yes on the outdoors for the big guy - he does love it so there.

Hi Ann - I wonder too on the pen - so far it seems to be making a difference - we do have better numbers. yep: the boy does like his outdoor time. :lol: on the whack-a-thons: I hope so, as I kinda miss them. me too on the cancel, but we will go next week.

Hi Marje - could be on the pen. Just very coincidental that the cycle I switch pens on is the one where he starts posting the blues again. sure looks like that was the culprit. odd, in a way since that the pen was only 28 days old... oh well, we shall see what he cranks out for a cycle or two before upping his dose. Then again - it could have been that he was sick of all the yellow. :lol: :lol:

Gracie - girl..... sand is a good fur cleaner, trust me I know!! That's true, isn't it? :? heeheehee on Tobey! he's one cool dude. I think I will bring Elsa - she's never been to the dunes and she really likes you guys - so yupp! Elsa is coming. ~~ Mannie

I'm glad to see Mannie having a good day today. Good thing you realized the pen might need to be changed. It's too bad insulin doesn't come with an indicator so we know when to get a new bottle (or pen)!

Very nice cycle today, and it looks like Mannie is heading in the right direction this evening! It sounds like he had a fabulous day checking out the green, green grass. Around here, it was almost spring-like, even though it snowed just a couple days ago. Bring it on - I am ready!

Well look at that!!! Two blue cycles in one day!! Way to go Mannie!!

Ok Mannie....I'll get sand on my fur if it's good for it but my mamabean is always brushing me to keep me very soft. I'm glad Elsa is coming...she needs to get out and have FUN!!
