Happy Tuesday Lantus Land!!! Sending more healing vines out for Sid and Rocket today and to Christie's ankle
Gracie went to the vetty this morning and vetty says Baby Girl looks spectacular and everything checked out wonderful. She went over her gums and teeth very closely as Gracie is very willing to allow her to do so. She said there is just a tiny bit of tartar but no gum irritation and she sees nothing that would warrant a dental and anesthesia at this time. So that's one thing to cross off the list of why are her numbers wonky. I called Novo Nordisk (lev manufacturer) yesterday and explained how at least three of my pens in this 5-pack have been bad although I can't say if this last one is a little wonky or it's just Gracie. Even so, they called Costco and replaced the entire pack but they wanted the one I had including the pen I just opened a couple weeks ago. I had not intended to give up on my current pen yet but since they wanted them all back, I had to start a new pen last night. Miss Gracie gets today and tonight and if things haven't picked up...up she goes in her dose.
She does not like going to the vetty but she is very, very good. She curls up tightly and buries herself under her blankies in her carrier. She's very happy to be home but has been meowing at the top of her tiny lungs since we got home.....again, putting that into perspective....it's the same as a quiet "mew" for most kitties.
We're about to go for a walk since she is at a safe number and then we'll decide what to do with the rest of our day depending on which way she heads once her insulin onsets. Have a great day!
