Kind of hard to believe that he was actually on a trial off insulin two weeks ago.

Viewing the BG values rise over the last week is frustrating. I feel we have lost all the momentum we had with him and basically are starting all over.

Can imagine how disappointed you must be. Here's hoping he comes back down and makes yet another OTJ attempt soon. Hang in there.
 
Good luck with this dose. Did the vet suggest the increase to 1.0 units? I would hold it at least six cycles to let the depot build.

You aren't the first to have to abort a trial. it happens. :bighug: I am sure Zoot will get back on track.

Correct - we did change, and are not changing the dose through the weekend; we will talk again to our Vet on Monday - he watches our spreadsheet. He finished the Metronidazole yesterday and hopefully that will not have an effect. It is a big drop today, so we will monitor and get another test in tonight at +5 when I head to bed. I think he is already getting back on track - he looks amazingly better that a day ago and his energy is up.

Thanks for keeping an eye on us. I can use the support. I think we will get back on track soon.
