Aw, that's really adorable!

It's funny; Gen could hardly care less about fresh laundry (he just wants to sit in my lap when I'm folding it, then get mad when I keep folding it).

Not sure how far south the winter storm is going, but I hope you stay warm too, for whatever value that means to you! (You mentioned the other day that Xander didn't approve of the cold weather - how cold is cold for you guys?)

Flare gets really possessive about warm things. He'll get in the middle of the laundry and then hiss at you for folding it and taking it away. Here's a picture of him in jail for doing that:

So far they're forecasting us to miss the ice and snow in New Orleans, only some thunderstorms and 2 nights of lows in the 20s. Apparently we'll be right back up to the 70s by the end of the week and then possible snow next weekend? I think its going to be up and down for a while haha.

Hahaha awww, kitty jail! Poor Flare. He just wanted to be warm. (Gen, on, the other hand ... he sees me folding laundry, which he has seen so many times before. He makes a beeline for my lap, then gets increasingly annoyed about the ongoing movement in front of/above him, bats at me or bites me, and promptly gets kicked off again. Every time. Once he bit me in the armpit! I was wearing a sweater at the time, so it was just pretty hilarious, but damn.)

Okay, 20s are pretty darn cold (although tomorrow it's supposed to be single-digits here for most of the day, which, ughhhh). And wow, those are some wild fluctuations you're looking at! I always have a hard time with big, fast temperature changes; I hope they treat you okay!
