Thanks for all the input but....
First, when I was with the other diabetes board, they made me adjust her dose depending on the pre-shoot number every time. So, sometimes using what I was taught there. I was taught to never shoot if she is under 150 by the other board. I couldn't have known that you guys don't agree with what I was taught.

Second, when she had Pancreatitis a few days ago, I thought I should shoot low just in case because she really wasn't eating much while recovering.

Third, I'm trying to find her best dose as her numbers are down regulating since her bladder infection seems to be improving finally.

I'm trying to find her best dose but she is in a downward trend so I will be adjusting it slowly.

Thanks

She looks nice today, good numbers coming in.

Some insulin are dosed on a sliding scale determined by the preshot number. Lantus and Levemir are not. Was she on something different then?

Always Lantus. This is why I didn't stay with that diabetes board. I was getting different advise from many different people and I couldn't figure out who to listen to.
I have a lot of common sense and I'm intuitive for the most part. I really trust myself most of all because I'm with her and know her. I'm going to stick with 2.0 every 12 hours for now. I'm not always exactly on time depending on my schedule but I try to be.
