He seems to be doing great. I think he is super confused mostly about testing. He has jumped on little sofa a couple times last night wondering why we aren't testing.

My cat is so much like me...he needs his routine. He has been after me for an hour to talking purring jumping on little sofa following me around the house. He started biting my pant leg...so I accommodated and tested him +3 71. You're good buddy LOL

They do get used to their routines. When Furball was in remission I took her to her testing spot at what would have been AMPS and PMPS and gave her some loving so she wouldn't feel neglected.

That is an excellent idea Carla! I will do that if he whines for testing when not necessary from now on.

Day 2 is at a close. Old habits are hard to break. I had to remind myself not to get the insulin out of the fridge tonight.

Hooray day 2! He's looking great!

When Kit first went into remission, she definitely was not pleased about getting fewer treats because of a lot less testing. We had to slowly wean her down to a less ridiculous amount.
