I gave Tinkles a new food...EVO Venison (2%)...last night at PMPS. When I got his +2, he was much higher, so I immediately pulled the other mini meals and gave him one of the other foods that I know is fine for him. His numbers came down from there, and his AMPS this morning is back to his new normal, so I suspect that the venison is not a good food for him. I will test it again to verify my results in a day or two. I have found that some foods that are LC do NOT act as LC for Tinkles, so I test every food, each flavor to see the effect on his BG before adding it to his diet.

Tinkles was still a little sneezy last night, but no sneezing so far this morning. I am continuing to give him the higher dose of chlortab. He was quite frisky this morning, romping around and batting his squeaky mouse toy. All Ps in place, appetite excellent as usual. He was talking into his food bowl at +2, telling me how yummy it was I guess! :lol:

Another busy day today...I need to go out for a few hours this morning, then have lots to do here when I get back. I'm looking forward to a little more spare time in a couple of days..right now I'm just swamped. Have a great Sunday!

Great AMPS. Perhaps you's like to give Mr. T credit for it in your subject line?

I ran out of pre-mix for the kitties raw food and started giving them Wellness. I think Gabby's numbers like the Wellness better. It's interesting how some of these foods that are low carb get a different response.

Sheesh, I don't think I've ever missed his name before, can you tell I was in hurry this morning? Just too many irons in the fire.

I ran out the door after +2, got home @ +6 to a 50...it looks like Pita got the +5 snack. I gave him his regular +6 snack.

+6.5~48 Gave him 1 tsp LC with drop of karo. Surfing in the 60s is much better, Tinkles!

Sienne, Wellness is one of the foods that gives Tinkles a big sustained food spike. It is funny how different foods that should be equivalent work so differently for some kitties! I haven't figured out why, I just test and use what works for him. Unfortunately, it's most of the higher quality foods that don't work for him!
