Evening LL! No poo today for the Moonster, but she is OK..Eating this am & seems happy..
I am giving her 3 doses today am~2ml lactulose...6pm~1ml lactulose..11pm 2 ml lactulose,
as I am afraid she will get stopped up again :o :o :shock: ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile (ANTIJINX)
She didnt poo today yet but did have miralax this am in her food...WE'll see!!

It was 11 degrees this am & I had the dentist, who found a cavity, and fixed it right there..
Went to my house & just got the mail--Looked around & miss it Oh So Much!!
Now the contractors wont be back till Monday, working elsewhere-- :cry: :cry:
He said two months till we go home :cry: :cry: :cry: .Oh well, as long as Moonie is OK that's all that really matters.

Hope all kitties who are ailing will be feeling better soon, andBeans as well--

Hi guys nice drop today! Glad Moonie is doing well, paws crossed for some poo real soon!!!!! WEll 2 months isn't really THAT long, you will be back in your house before you know it! Hugs and love to Moonie!!

Hi Roni, good to hear Moonie is doing well. Now we just need some MooniePoo!! We are sending prezzie vines for our Moonie. Come on Moonie; Detective Poo is keeping watch! I hope the contractors overestimated the time for you to get back into your home.
Paws and fingers crossed on the dosing for Lactulose. I experiment, too. Hugs and love from us .

I'm glad Moonie is doing well. Hopefully she'll give you some poo soon. The two months will be over before you know it and you'll be home again.

Detective Poo here, checking on Miss Moonie. I hope to see a good report soon. Two more months, I'm sorry it is taking so long but it will be here soon. :-D

i always look for updates on Moonie.....and you of course

here is what my mom once told me to use on Rocket...and i only had to use it once in his entire life....

to dab a little vaseline in the bum and this is what supposedly has been used in babies for when they have trouble going....and supposedly works....and i must say....that day it worked for me....and for Rocket....

i have no kids so i can't say the theory worked in kids...but this i will say....that day i thought he was plugged up and i dabbed a little vaseline and lo and behold....he went!

i was so happy to see poo just as you have been happy to see it in Moonie....

thought i share that with you....

and Rocket was on miralax and pumpkin....but that day i really worried he was plugged up....and when i talked to mom on the phone and she mentioned it again....i did as she said....and he went!

continued prayers for you both.....and dh of course!
 
Thanks all, but No Poo--I felt like I almost killed her tonite, with the last dose of lactulose..I also had to syringe part of the pred. treat because she doesnt like them now either--So I did one & then the other--She fought & clawed, then after, acted like she was drunk for a minute and I thought I killed her!!--
This cat is going to kill me I swear!!
DH comforted her, & now she is eating & drinking--Think I will use some vaselineb as Claudia suggested--
What could hurt??
I will also call Vet Pharmacies of America & see if there is a better way to do these 2 meds--
Heal all you ailing kitties, and have a good Ni Ni LL--Love you from us!

Hi Roni, I think it was two days ago I posted in your condo that Maggie's lactulose is ordered thru a compounding pharmacy and flavored wiith chicken. She doesn't fight me as much with it as she did with the original greenish Lactulose. It can be flavored with tuna also or other flavors. It's much more palatable for the kitty than the original lactulose. I wonder if you think that might be a possibility for Moonie? You could check with your Vet about it next time you need more. Paws and fingers crossed and vines for a a nice MooniePoo this morning.
