Yesterday's Tears in Our Eyes Condo

I still am having trouble wrapping my brain around the magnitude of the losses suffered in LL yesterday. My heart aches for Suzanne, Matt & Matty, Jen and Tonya. I pray they will all take comfort in knowing so many share their sorrow. I gave my three babies an extra hug or two last night, and Harvey can expect the same when I get him back home. Life is too darned short.

Cinco has decided to slide on down to the edge of the lagoon. He seems uncertain about whether or not to dip his toes in. Much as I love to see that green, I'm happy he got so close. I want him to practise surfing right there! We're going to be out all day tomorrow, so I need him to do the same then. Hear that, Cinco?

The surgery student watching over Harvey called this morning to say all looks good and I can come to pick him up and speak to the surgeon at 4:30 this afternoon. He didn't eat his breakfast, even though it was one of his favorites. Not sure if it's just the stress of where he is, or an upset tummy, but I'll be glad to get him home to fuss over him. And hug.

Minka was her usual fussy eater self this morning. I tried both z/d and a/d on her, as she has eaten them in the past and they are both low phos, but no sale. She did eat some more Max Cat chunky chicken, so I need to pick some more of that up today on my way to get Harvey. It's much better for her than FF, so I call that a win.

Sasha has been losing a little bit of weight every week, even though I felt like her appy was improving. She seems to have thrown up a little bit last night and wasn't terribly interested in breakfast today. I gave her some Ondansetron and Pepcid. She nibbled a little at the z/d I offered her, but only ate one of the treats I planted in what she left. It's got me a little :nailbiting:

I've spent the morning making up for all the times I haven't visited condos, and now I need to get my rear in gear and get dressed and work out before I go get my Harvey.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF & DH, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.

Many extra hugs to our bereaved LL family members. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

:bighug::bighug::bighug: Great nes on Harvey, I know he'll be happy to get home too. As for the rest of you

EAT YOUR FUDS!!!

Very nice cycle there Cinco!! China was down on shore earlier but for some silly reason, just hopped up into sunny yellow....silly cats!!

Sasha and Minko....come on now and eat yer fuds! You're worrying your mamabean!

I'm sure you'll be happy to have Harvey back home where you can hover over him and make sure he's really OK (what do students know anyway?...LOL)

:D:D:D!

Is the anyone else having trouble with their SS? I entered all my info this morning, and it was fine, then when I went back to update it, a different drive document was in it's place! I went back to my SS, and all today's info was gone! WTH?!

My cats will never eat at tge vet"s so I"m hoping tht Harvey will when he gets home. As for the rest of you, EAT!

I'm glad Harvey is doing well and coming home. Hopefully the girls will start eating better for you. Nice numbers for Cinco today. :D I haven't had any trouble with Furball's SS.

Look Ma, I got my toes wet. Good boy Cinco, green but not too deep.

I just opened my SS from this morning, and today's data had vanished. Fortunately it wasn't much.

I hope you've got Harvey now and that he'll be home making a pest of himself in no time.

Hi Tricia,
We hope that Harvey is home and that all is fine, and that he will eat his dinner.
Cinco, the LagoonMeister is up on shore today, but he is mighty proud of you. He has one message: surf safe!
Sometimes with the Google spreadsheets I get the message "you are off line" (when I'm not: it's Google who is!), sometime with the message "we're back; updating". But I've never encountered a different document in its place.
Have a good evening. I hope the gang will eat well for you tonight.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Harvey. Welcome home!!!! Now you can eat. And then in a little bit, eat some more. And then in a little more bit, eat again. etc.

Now, girls. Please EAT YOUR NOMS!!!! Food is good. But it's much better when you eat it. PLEASE!

As for you Cinco....kisses and light scritches and a virtual massage because you are just the bestest boy. Surf it safe.

Googly being goofy. Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That can't be!;)

Enjoy having the whole gang home, Tricia.

Marilyn and Polly

Woo hoo, look at that day for Cinco, beautiful:D:D:D. I hope he gives you the same nice toe dipping tonight and a good safe day tomorrow! I'm so glad that Harvey is doing good and can come home today, I hope he's getting some nice snuggles right now. It's so hard when they are gone. Chyna would never eat at the vet either, the times she had to be on IV overnight they only managed to get her to have a teensy bit once, not even treats. I'm sure his bean has a nice meal planned for tonight:p. I hope your hand is feeling much improved today.

I'm so sorry I haven't been posting much, but I always look for my Cinco condo to check in daily. You're such a great bean and I wish I could take away some of your stress and help with all these kitties! Paws crossed on a household of happy appys and Sasha gaining some weight back. Hugs to you, Tricia:bighug::bighug:.

Thanks for all the visits. Great to hear from you, Rachel! :) Just have a moment to post a quick note while waiting for the taters to boil.

Harvey is home, but no snuggles. The surgeon was adamant that he be kept confined for the next 10 DAYS - she is not only concerned about the incisions, but the internal healing of the biopsies. She said it is critical that he not run and jump around, and trust me, Harvey would be doing both of those things if he was allowed. So we got out the cage we used for Cinco when he first came, and Sasha after her amputation. We put it in the living room because we know he will be crying a lot and we want to sleep at night (with Sasha it was in the bedroom, as that's her favorite room and she was quiet). He's had two small meals of moist food, both of which he has eaten. He also has a bowl of z/d dry in there with him. He's not a happy camper, but I have no choice. :(

Both of the girls ate about half their dinner, and one of them threw it back up. I'm pretty sure it was Sasha. I gave her some Ond, and five minutes later she was eating dry food. Minka was also eating some moist at that time, so no clue there. Based on where it happened, and where I was at the time, my money is on Sasha. I am about as stressed as I can be.

Cinco was meowing and carrying on at +2 so I tested him, thinking he was low, but he was just hungry.

Oops - water's boiling. Gotta run.

First of all:bighug::bighug:for you. I can't imagine the stress you are under. You are amazing! I'm glad Harvey is home and pray the biopsies show something easily treated. I hope Sasha doesn't vomit any more and that everybody eats well tonight. I think tonight is one night that Cinco should surf blue. You need some sleep and not the added stress of a pj party.

Back to green. :D Thank you, Cinco, for being a good boy and giving me such lovely numbers and no worries. Let's keep it that way, okay?

Thanks, Elise. Sorry for the mini meltdown. When I saw that someone/Sasha had thrown up, all I could think of was that her cancer was back and I was pretty scared. I've got control again.

(((Tricia))) To me, that is a perfect cycle for Cinco- if I saw numbers like that for Tiger I would be so happy- good boy Cinco! I don't know how I keep missing your condos!! I am so glad Harvey is home safe and sound- yes confined to the cage but he needs to heal those wounds. :bighug: I hope there is no more vomiting in your HH and that everybody eats their fuds!! Please don't apologize for what you think is a mini meltdown- that's what this forum is for---support! ( I know this because Marje and Marilyn just told me so!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:) You have so much on your plate and have to be stretched so thin, you are truly amazing! Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight!

Wow you sure are managing a juggling act there - and doing a fabulous job - I think I would have been having a maxi meltdown by then! I hope Harvey doesn't cry too much, it's so hard on us when we have to be cruel to be kind, I'm sure he'll forgive you though.
