Snowy and windy here. The dogs didn't want to go outside to do their duty.:( Hubby has to plow and shovel a duty spot for the canines.

Great day yesterday and last night. Had to give him a bit of LC last night @+7 and @+9.5 to make sure he didn't go to low. Back in the greens again, Yippee. @Jill & Alex (GA) , hope he keeps stringing them together.;):cat::)

I'm glad to see a Bubba condo. I hope that means you still have power. How much snow have you gotten? I don't blame the dogs for not wanting to go out.

Nice start for Bubba this morning. :D I hope he surfs today.
 
Bubba is really enjoying these greens! Glad to see it was another green pre-shot...I think he may want to start stringing some of these days together :D

We have gotten quite a bit and it's hard to say how much because of all the drifting. It's still coming down.
 
String of greens would be really nice to see. Stay safe and warm.

I hope for just a few hours of green (safe ones) at this point myself. The storm is just getting started here. It is very fine snow, roads fairly clear yet.

@7.25 - 77 we are back in the greens, woot woot :D That was a quick little bounce from this AM @+2 till now. Or do you think it could have been the extra food in the wee hours of the morn?

Wellllllllll, could be from just about anything! :)
I would have expected his PS number to have been higher if it were the extra foods. Seriously, his body might have reacted to almost anything... something he saw out the window, something he heard that wasn't the norm, something going on that isn't usual. Heck, he may not like the blizzard! He could have even picked up on anxiety from the droolers. Who knows!

We always want to know "why". All too often we'll never know the answer. Focusing on them will only serve to drive you crazy... and who needs more crazy in their lives? A few numbers... even a cycle... they're just not all that important in the general scheme of things. Now trends... that's a horse of a different color. Trends are important. I pay attention to trends when it comes to diabetic kitties. And I LOVE the trend we're seeing here!

Thanks Jill, you are right, I don't need anymore crazies, that is my 88 year old mother's job.;)
Yes, this is a nice trend and hope it continues even if it does tie me down to him a bit. :)

My mom is in DC and she said they've had 14 inches of snow and it's getting worse. Sometimes I want a snow day so I have an excuse to stay in warm fuzzy clothes and drink hot chocolate all day. But this storm sounds downright crazy!

I was in my jammies most of the day,now warm fuzzies ones in front of a fire with DH and Mom and the felines and droolers. I have a horrid head cold (thanks DH) and I fell 6 nights ago and did soft tissue damage (thought it was fractured a rib but it's a lot better) so it's nice to have an excuse to lay around. Good to have a snow day to make you do nothing!

It's great when they start putting together several nice cycles in a row.

Thanks for asking about Mickey. He is determined to make the most of all 9 of his lives. He has heart problems and his chest filled up with fluids. I thought it was the end for him, but I guess he didn't think so yet. He took his meds like a good boy, and the fluid went away. Unfortunately the new x-ray showed what might be a mass in his lungs so the fluid might have been caused by cancer instead of his heart. At the moment he feels good and he's actually very spunky today. We'll see, we're taking it one day at a time but today was a good one. :)
 
Well, if he keeps you hopping all night, at least you can relax tomorrow since you will probably be snowed in! ;) Sorry to hear about the cold and your rib. I have a sinus infection so I decided even though there's no snow here, I'm going to have my own lazy day resting. :)

Ah, poor boy. Glad he is feeling better and so sorry the x-ray showed a possible mass. Fingers and paws that it isn't. :bighug:

You go girl! This is a "in the sinus" kind of cold. I am feeling better, just sound bad. You feel better too! I used to get sinus infections all the time,they are the worst. Have you tired a netti pot? I swear by them for sinus issues and allergies. It really helps and you won't get them anymore or if any, very few......
