The vet said there are no symptoms of EPI. It must have been an episode of acute pancreatitis which was treated through the antibiotics. He prescibed the medicine so that digestion can improve and the pancreas can work better.

Is there another way to "boost" his pancreas - other than medication?

Antibiotics are not used to treat pancreatitis in my experience. You just treat the symptoms. Acute pancreatitis usually requires hospitalization and I’ve fluids, and pain meds. Have you read any of the articles in the primer on pancreatitis?

No, I haven't. Where can I find this?
I also think he is a bit dehydrated but this time the vet didn't bother when I asked him to administer some sub-fluids...
