Hopefully I am posting this right.

Diesel has been diabetic since Jan 8. Possible cause was because of steroids that he was on. Sunday that just passed he went 2 cycles without the need of his Lantus shot. He then had a reading of 18 (333) which I gave him 0.25U. He is now on his 3rd cycle with no insulin.

I have no questions right now about Diesel but just wanted to come join the thread and introduce ourselves over here :)

Do I make a new post every time I have a question or do I just change the title?

Hi Nicole and Diesel :):cat:

Those steroids sure can do it. Sometimes a necessary evil, but after the diabetes diagnosis, I'd avoid them if at all possible. I hope Diesel keeps doing so well!
You can start a new post every day, like this if you weren't introducing yourself: 1/22 Diesel AMBG 79 (the AMBG just means he didn't get insulin; if he did, it would be AMPS).
As the day goes on, you can update the title with more test numbers if you'd like, or add a question. When you have a specific question, you can also click on the little icon prefix directly to the left of your title, and choose the question mark. You might get more responses that way. Each new day, link the prior day's thread. Please don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!

WELCOME! Someone might ask you to link your last thread from Main Health to the top of this thread. Then we could see what you have already been through! It's so nice to see how far you have come - I hope you aren't exhausted!

I edited the post to include my link from the main health forum.
