Yesterday was another pink to blue, then blue to pink day. But there was a smell of insulin after last night's shot. The evidence indicates a possible fur shot. ohmygod_smile

Today was start higher, but Neko is in full on dive mode. She really hates being in those high numbers. She was quite playful last night when she was in the blues. I haven't tested for a couple of hours, but I suspect she is there again. It's another foggy but cold and dry day. Neko only did a quick survey from the deck and has otherwise been inside. I caught a pic of her in her cannonball position on my laptop bag. Blue of course. :-D


DH was out shopping yesterday at his "toy" store and got me a pair of calipers which I started using last night. I'm not micro-dosing Neko, but am checking for consistency of the dose on the BD syringes. Only two shots so far but the lines were the same.

I used the BD syringes for years, and they had so many misprints on the syringes I saved them & called them directly--If you contact them & tell them the printing is inaccurate they will send you a free box..I am using the Relion syringes that were donated to me by the sweethearts on the board & I like them..
The syringe debate has has been on here Many Many times--Guess the Calipers are the way to go for you~~

I have done Many Fur shots in my time..It just happens, not your fault, make sure you do it better the next shot time...You have been doing great with Neko!! Have a good night!! HUgs & Love from us!

Hi guys sorry about the high numbers today quite possibly a fur shot but who knows right? Nice drop @ +5. Good luck with the calipers. The pic is adorable, that is one of Scrabble's favorite positions too. Have a great evening!

@Roni - I should collect up any syringes that I find to be way out and try that trick of getting a new box. In Canada, BD pretty much owns the market in .5U dose syringes. The calipers will help.

@Michelle - If you discount Neko's bread run the other night, this is the first red for quite a while. Oh well, looks like she is getting over it just fine. I thought it was appropriate for Neko to be sleeping in that position while dropping 45 points an hour. :o :lol:

Wow, Neko; quite a rainbow day! Nice to see she came down from that yucky red!! Sorry about the fur shot; unfortunately, it's happened to most, if not all, of us. :sad:

neko made a nice little recovery from that yowser amps! yay on that nice little green moment.

I am using the caliper to measure Rosy's dose. Her 1u is so off on the BD syringe marking. :o

Hi Wendy - sorry for the late visit.

Quite the day for Neko - nice recovery from that amps. I love the photo - sure looks like a dive to me. She mist have been dreaming of pointing from red all the way to green. :-D :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

We have been foggy most of today too... a few sun breaks, but not much, and still cold. They say the rains are due tomorrow. I'm not too sure if I am glad or not. :lol:

Looks like my little diver girl decided to flatten out tonight. :-D

@Mary - It sure does look like Neko decided she'd had enough of that red floor and boogied on down. Thanks on the pic, she does love sleeping on that bag. Still to be determined what Neko has in mind for tonight, I'll know in an hour. I figured she'd do a mini bounce at first because of the drop today.

@Libby - Neko does love doing the rainbow express. The flat night is much more to my taste! Neko moved just as I was putting in the plunger, nothing to be done about it but throw away that cycle. At least it was at night so I could sleep.

@Julie - Neko is pretty good at rushing down (and up) but it was good to see she still had green in her. Please pass on some scritches to Punkin for me and :YMHUG: to you.

@Helen - I now discovered I need a third hand, one each for syringe, caliper and magnifying glass. :lol: I might need a stand like you have.

@Michelle - Any even later reply from me. We went out for some dinner and DH was helping doing some house repair. We saw a few raindrops on the way home. At least it'll get warmer and clear out the fog. Neko did do a good job on the recovery, not too unusual for her. I did like how she was doing the tuck on her dive in her sleep. :-D
