Yesterday's Condo

So far this morning we've had purrs and cuddles, preening, and (wait for it....) playing. Before breakfast, Gizmo was doing his level best to entice Gabby into playing. She wasn't interested. However, after the second mini-meal, Gabby goes flying (yes, Gabby at a run!) down the hall with Gizmo right behind her. And then, she comes back down the hall diving into the cubes. Gizmo sits at the end where she's facing and keeps whacking the cube. (I think Gabby was inside going, "Na, na, na-na, na!") Oh. And Gizmo brought me a present at some point during the night. I had a feather wand in bed. He's such a silly kitten!

Wow! Go, Gabby! That's so cute, I love how cats tease each other. And presents in bed? What a bonus. It sounds like a great morning for Gabby. :razz:

It sounds like so much fun seeing the two of them play hide and seek! Makes me want to get a buddy for Maggie only she's been a queen bee for two years now, so not sure! Hope all of you have a nice weekend.

And how can you go to bed without your feather wand Sienne? My goodness! What is a night's sleep without one? Glad Gizmo got one to you ....

I adore this cat but she is going to drive me to drink, and I don't mean cawfee. My test at +1 was 231. She slalomed right past blue and into green. I love that she loves green. I just wish she didn't feel the need to take the express route!

WOW! Mannie went from 325 to 125 in two hours - what is going on out there. Gabby wins the diving contest tonight. And I bet you didn't expect that - I know I didn't with Mannie. Ok Gabby - you look AWESOME in green - but a little higher, please.

Tsk tsk Miss Gabby!! Where are you headed so fast??? Sounds like a diving contest around LL but some kitties do NOT have permission to participate! :lol: Very nice recovery now surf Gabby!

Ladies -

It wasn't so much the drop to 50 that frays the nerves. (I have to admit, I did test twice at +2 because I was sure it was a meter error.) It was the +2.5 at 38 that was semi-expected that can still get to me. I don't usually have that, "Holy carp!" reaction or feel like I can't shovel HC into Gabby fast enough, though. She's really good and usually lets me know that her numbers are running low by following me into the kitchen with a, "Mom, I want fuds." expression.

At the moment, Gabby is giving herself a foot bath. She's rather unconcerned.
 
oh so true! Mannie came and got me - and voila - a 49. not as dramatic as gabby's 38, but still gets the heart pumping.... feed me said the kitty.
