Bonsoir à tous , je reviendrais sur mon message d'hier pour répondre à ceux qui ont eu la gentillesse de me répondre , Voilà j'ai donc fait comme prévu j'ai sauter l'injection de Caramel hier soir en ne donnant que de l'humide RC diabetic , ce matin je l'ai trouver bien haut depuis le passage de 8ui à 4 ui Caramel à reperdu 200 grammes. ( 5.9 KG à 5.7kg depuis le changement de dose d'insuline de 8ui à 4 ui )
( Pour information, Caramel avait perdu du poids étant un chat de 6.5 kg à la base lors ce que j'ai appris que Caramel avait du diabète il avait perdu beaucoup de poids était descendu a 4.8 kg , nous avions commencer par caninsulin 2ui puis 4 puis 6 , même avec cette insuline Caramel perdais encore du poids jusqu'à atteindre les 4.3kg , hors nous avons conclut suite à ses courbes chez le veterinaire que Caramel etait resistant à Caninsulin , donc nous avons changer pour Lantus ou finalement il à repris du poids et est passé de 4.3 kg à 5.9kg à partir du moment ou il a etait sous 6 puis 8 IU , c'est cela qui m'a fait réaliser que pour moi l'insuline agissait il avait repris ses habitudes , dormir dans ses endroits prèférer , il buvait moins , faisait pipi moins fort et surtout manger sa gamelle en petite quantité sur tout le long de la soirée , avant ça il se jeter sur la nourriture et avaler tout d'un coup ).
Pour moi ce sont bien les signes qui prouvent que Caramel réagissait à l'insuline et stabiliser son poids et dans sa vie quotidienne , Actuellement je trouve son comportement un peu plus réactif ces derniers jours , il remange sa gamelle entièrement d'un coup et ensuite veux manger un peu dans la gamelle des autres , il re boit un peu plus que avant les pipis pour l'instant pas de changement , mais surtout surtout il a reperdu 200 GRAMMES et c'est cela qui m'inquiète , quand on voit son AMPS et son PMPS on voit bien que il remonte vite et qu'il ne descend pas assez , par contre peux être que vu que Lantus est une insuline lente à dépôt le fait d'avoir 4 ui matin et 4 ui le soir de cumuler ses 2 doses le fait descendre peux être un peu plus dans la nuit car celle du matin agit peux être encore en complément .....
J'essaie de comprendre car je connais mon chat par coeur je sais si il es bien , si il change de comportement , j observe tout ce qu'il fait j'ai eu Caramel tout petit et je connais mon chat comme ci c'etait mon enfant ....
Je reçois normalement la nouvelle nourriture demain matin Pro plan diabetic m/d pour rappel ces croquettes ont 10% de moins de glucides même si il en reste beaucoup 17% ça sera moins élever que les 27% de RC diabetic .
1/ dois je changer la dose d'insuline ou rester à 4ui et surveiller et voir comment mon chat réagit ?
2/ dois je faire la transition direct passage de RC diabetic aux nouvelle croquettes Proplan m/d ?
3/ que pensez vous des infos que je donne sur caramel sur la reprise de poids est ce bon signe
justement qu'il avait repris du poids suite à la dose élever de lantus ?
Bien entendu je ne cherche pas à elever à nouveau la dose d'insuline mais j'essaie de comprendre comment son corps réagit à la dose et à son organisme , pour moi tout les signes suivants : prise de poids , reprise d'habitudes pour les dodos , savoir gerer sa gamelle sans trop vouloir tout manger d'un coup , boire beaucoup moins , et faire pipi moins fort ont etait les signes que j'ai justement trouver positif ....
