I guess I may have spoken too soon/jinxed us by mentioned the numbers yesterday! I was hoping last night's 195 was stress-induced, since the neighbors were having some tree work done very close to our house, but with this morning's 178....I dunno. She is bringing it down nicely, though....maybe she's back in OTJ bounce mode. We'll just keep tabs on things and keep plugging away.

Besides, Trix don't care 'bout no stinkin' numbers! We haz a happy kitty with a happy appy. This morning, when I sat down to check e-mail before breffis, not only did Trix come and sit on my lap for snuggles, but she came running and took a flying leap onto my lap !!! She was quite impatient with her pre-breffis pokey, because she was ready to get eatin'...and eat, she did. More snuggles, More hunting for adventure. Gelcap was smooth-ish. She was feisty at BananaMeds tiime...ironically, she was snuggling with a nanner, and she was non-too-thrilled when I surprised her with that sticky sweet syringe of ABs. But, overall, a good start for Trix.

It's another work day for the bean....blah. Time to get moving. Have a great day, L&LL!

Amy

PS...More anti-jinxes!!!

Oh well. Trixie doesn't care about numbers. If she is bouncing like this without juice, imagine what would happen with. Have a great day Amy!!

I like that PMBG much better, Trix. Mannie Fuds Dance, Happy Appy....we're off to a good start. Up next: gelcap, fluids, banana meds.

That's the thing, it's all about Happy Kitty with a Happy Appy and Happy Antics! Your post made me smile! :joyful::joyful::joyful: Sending tons and tons of anti-jinx vines so that all of this continues and whatever was making her feel so crappy is gone for good!! Have a great evening Amy!

More cheers for a happy kitty today!

How is your dad doing, Amy?
My Dad is doing very well, thank you for asking Shelly. Just like Trixie, he is mystifying and amazing all the docs with his incredible response to and tolerance of treatment! The doctor's hope was that he would stay stable; instead, much of the cancer is now undetectable on scans. He does have a 4-5 day chemo crash after each treatment (treatment is every 3 weeks), but once he comes out of it, it's as if nothing had ever happened.

That's fantastic news. I knew you had mentioned a few days ago that he was over the chemo crash from the most recent treatment. Do they know how many more treatments he'll have to undergo?

I would agree that he and Trixie are a lot a like - both are tough and resilient! :)

As of right now, my Dad's course of treatment is a little unknown. When this whole thing started, the doc said he'd be receiving treatment "as long as it was working". But that was also when the doc think that treatment would keep him stable (at best) until he wasn't stable any more...he wasn't expecting this sort of response. So at this point, we don't know what direction the treatment plan is ultimately going to go in, and of course being a doctor, his oncologist can't and won't "speculate". His next treatment is next Tuesday...that will be his 8th round.

What a wonderful condo - Great Trixie report and even better DF report!

P.S. Anti-jinx! ;)
