Mornin' Lantus.
I REALLY wish I would have gotten some mid cycles last night to explain how THIS happened.
I can get a few tests in today...altho' I think I missed an event...a zoom somewhere.
thoughts?

exactly. those mid cycles surly give an idea if he went too low and is bouncing or if still NDW.
remember, too low is not always 20,30,40 ect. for cats that are used to going form 5-6oo to 200 this can be considered too low and the liver panics. we call it LTS where liver has to learn to adjust to lower numbers whatever they may be. you will eventually see a decrease in this as the liver learns it is ok and you will see lower numbers with less of a high bounce.

Feel like I missed the boat on this one.
If this were a bounce..from lets say a blue, would I be treating/dosing any differently now?
Need to know...
I won't be home until +7, which seems safe as he is'nt hurrying to get anywhere that I can see.

no, do not think so. he just has to get used to lower numbers. we will never know IF he made it that far down that any change in dose is warranted. just stay as is and spots when you can

OK it's Fri. again...I won't be here for normal shot time. 1 hours 15 minutes early or 1 1/2 hour late?
is there a preference?

bump...i think the plus side of shooting 1 hour and 15 minutes early is i'll get a +4 out of him.
really would like your thoughts...i would normally think this is a non issue but becuase of the importance of the 12/12 now indoctrinated in me i thought it might be better to ask.

woke up from a nap and heading off to bed. not sure what is the best way to handle this but
1) shooting early will cause an overlap of insulin and could cause him to go lower. if you an monitor at night then it is your call
2) waiting will deplete the shed and may take a few cycles to build back up and get back to where you are
so the safest thing would be #2 since not a whole lot of data yet

oh the horrors!
don't want him going low over night
he ain't doing so great now and don't want to set him back.
i can see it now....this is going to be a hard lifestyle for me to settle into.
i'm going with the early and waiting so it's just 1 hour early...i'll be late for my friday nite gita study.
if i see an unusual +4 i will do what i have to do.... :roll:

yep i know the routine...altho' i do know it is different sort of hypo than a pz hypo. i would be sruprised to see it come to that but know the potential.
wash rinse repeat...or WRR :lol:

i'll try to make this coherent on his ss, but he is just not responding folks.
i already know what your gonna say :-D give it time, patience, and test test test.
