.. we so sleepy in here. taking some time.. and slowly. .. got his medicine in time, i got some sleep last night, i think he likes the heating pad i set up, and he got more fluids today! went ok lots of treats, better setup, might've got more in but im juggling many things while we do this, and pressure pushed the needle out. he did so well .. can i reinsert the needle when that happens?.. thought I heard you can only insert once.. idk.

and them Terumo needles? oh lord.. night and day. why these arent standard everywhereee.. idk.

he went potty last night, bigger amount, looked way more hydrated!!! but not like the usual.. needs to go more. But i was happy to see that!! maybe fluids will help.. and more MiraLax.. when is it an emergency tho we need to go to vet?.. things moving, just not a big amount..

numbers ok.. so thankful.. but we see. adjusting and settling bit more while we figure things.. glad to have gone slowly.

::update:: spoke to Primary.. .. he said long as he’s moving something, not an emergency.. keep up Miralax, fluids (fluids everyday are ideal (max. 50 mL) but only if nugget can tolerate that.. why they say every other day/few days.. maybe we can.. will see; definitely every other day..) was happy we’re a little better.. Mirataz as needed ok.. and according to them, doesnt need a phosphorus binder rn.. tho right at the end of normal.. to chill w the additives cuz it might affect his eating/appetitie.. idk.

::Update 2::
The bebe went!! .. Pretty good too! So for maintenance.. i did twice in a day sometimes, others just 1 dose.. what should maybe do??

I’m so happy to hear that the fluids are going well and the new needles are much better. What a sweet boy he’s being so good

I’m glad you got clarification on the meds and when you can give them as as well as the fluids.
I’ll bet he’s feeling a lot better

I give Ivy psyllium husk twice a day. So I think you can give those kinds of supplements twice a day. You can always pack them off if you find they’re too much.

omg so happy too.. the new needles much better!!! they take a little more time but less painful.. he is so good!!! i think he knows im helping him..

I think so too.. going potty helped a lot too im sure ~ should i keep on/off Miralax twice/day like i did () or keep once.. then go up? i think the heat helped too and he’ll be getting fluids more.. i was thinking of trying the pumpkin?? ER nurse suggested it.. also gonna look at the psyllium husk. He Needs fiber..

the rest has been very much needed.. got some more last night.. still tired haha. But so good.. I worry tho he might be hungry being on the Mirataz and sometimes i forget to put food out just in case.. (im up tho feeding him regularly..)
