Although it's an odd day in Pollywood, all's good.

Did throw some hc at her this morning at 4.25. Had to take Will to the clinic for bloodwork. Didn't know how long I'd be gone and wanted some assurance she wouldn't break her pattern and keep going down.

And then the little pistol got into some of Rowsie's left over food about an hour before test time tonight.

That still doesn't really explain the climbing numbers throughout but it does let me ignore today's numbers in the hope tomorrow will be better!

Back to reading dog nutrition books the vet loaned me. Gotta find something for Suzi since she can't eat much of anything! Darn allergies.

Vines and wishes.

Polly what a sneaky kitty getting in Rowsie's food. :cat: I hope you are able to find something Suzi can eat that doesn't bother her. So hard when they have allergies.

Aw, pretty Polly snuck some contraband! Stealthy little kitty. I hope she sticks to her own food bowl tomorrow. Good luck with the doggie allergies. It has hard when their food choices are limited.

Are there any "dog allergy" groups/forums like this one? I hope you'll be able to find something that works for poor Suzi.

Polly's climb wasn't too bad yesterday...but hopefully there won't be more of that today!

I hope Polly's numbers come back down and she stays out of the contraband. I hope you get good b/w results back for Will. Good luck with Suzi's allergies.

Good luck with Suzi's allergies! Einstein, my Aussie/Shepherd/freckled-faced mystery mix, also has food allergies. He was originally surrendered as a three-month old puppy with one of the worst cases of mange I have ever seen. It took over a year for the mange to clear up and his hair to grow back, but he is still very sensitive to grains and many commercial foods and treats. I started him on a limited ingredient diet and eventually transitioned him to a grain free food with duck as the main ingredient. It took several months of trial and error, but (knock on wood) this food seems to do the trick for him. The one good thing about the entire journey though was that he will eat anything I put in front of him. Unlike with cats, I only had to worry about finding something that won't trigger his allergies.... but at least I can count on the fact that he will like it just fine.

Hope Polly finds a safe place to surf today- sounds like her and Trouble were going for the contraband together.. those cats!!
