Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! Anybody wanna hang out in Mannie's treehouse today? It smells like tuna pizzaas up here! :cool: We are opens to anything, so let us know! The zip lines are up and running, we have been testing them! :-D so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!

I hope your day yesterday was a good one. I hiked the trails here, went to the shore, walked that for a ways, as far as the tides would let me. OMG, the place was a zoo yesterday - so many people! Sunny day and a holiday, and they came out in droves... :lol: it was nice that the tides were out so I could leave the masses behind. Most don't walk the distance, so it was nice to have that part to myself. They also don't do the upper trails, so that was great too. I came home to a nice sunset - clear skies, with that golden orange glow to the sky. That was so pretty! Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I spent mine working on some cleanup stuff, resolving and wrapping up the medical insurance "stuff", what a pain that was, and getting some cleaning finished. By noon the sun was out, and I decided it was time to hit the trials, and enjoy what was a great afternoon. it was so nice to have the sun show, after several foggy days. The tides were low too, so I was able to walk some distance at the shore. It turned out to be a great way to spend the afternoon. Of course I took an overload of photos... Have a great evening everyone!"

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... one scattered pile of magazines: that was it!. :shock: :roll: But other than that??? GOOD GIRL! amazing isn't it. Last night Lola decided, as she always does, that she needed to help me in the shower. So she sits on the stack of towels on the towel rack.... when I was done I set this auto cleaner that I have, it hangs from the shower head, and sprays a light cleaner on the wall. anywyas.... it started up, noisily as it always does, and Lola watches it do its thing. I, silly me, decided to give her a pet during this. POOR LOLA! It scared the living daylights out of her when I touched her. I guess she thought that the noise maker had gotten to her... :o As I touched her she leaps up, hits the top of the rack, spilling everything, including Lola onto the floor. :shock: :lol: So there she stand on all fours on high alert, that head is going back and forth - kinda reminded me of the RoboCop dude. After a bit she calmed down, but would not take her eyes off of the shower door. I gave her lots of pets, put her back on the stack of towels, and all must have been well, as she fell asleep. ;-) oh boy, never ever a dull moment here. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am meeting my friend in Seattle later today, for a coffee get-together. The morning will be whatever looks good! ;-) Great day in the works. SWEET!

Nice on the hike yesterday. Sounds like it was a nice day even thought it was crowded. Everybody else had the same idea. Poor Lola. That is scary stuff.

Glad to hear the sun came out so you could go for a nice hike yesterday .. awww poor lola, sometimes they get so involved in something else when you go to touch them they totally freak out .. At least she was able to fall back asleep .. poor girl! :lol:

Hi Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) It was good, even with all the people. With the first sunny day in a while we all had the same idea. ;-) I know on poor Lola, she sure didn't like that cleaner! I think all would have been well if I hadn't petted her when it was working. :roll:

Hi Devon - THX for the visit! Me too on that sun - it has been rather elusive. ;-) YUPP, that was it exactly: touch = freak out. I thought so too, it couldn't have been too bad if she was able to go back to sleep right away. I will have to remember not to pet her when she's so involved with noisy things.
 
Hey Lil Bit,

The young uns are still very scared, so they aren't ready for play dates just yet. They need to feel safe and come out of the bathroom, meet Buster and explore their new home. Once they do all that, they will be ready for a play date, I'm sure.

As for names....well I think we got names....stay tuned to find out!

Auntie Hillary! ok on the youngins. I remember how that i when you gots a new home. I was scared too. I will waits then. BUT! I will bring Buster some tuna water - Does Buster like that stuff too? You want some tea this morning? ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, KBP

Poor Lola, she was so intent on that cleaner, she forgot you were there :lol: I am glad she calmed down for you.

Hi Michelle! Uh, is it wrong that I want some of those tuna pies? Other than the nip ;-) Maybe I'll be making tuna melts for supper now :lol:

I'm glad you had a nice walk, once you left the zoo behind! It's good that Lola got over her scary ordeal and was a good girl yesterday. I wonder if something is planned for today! Hope you have a nice coffee with your friend, and a great day! :-D
 
Poor Lola. I hate it when that happens. At least she calmed down quickly. Those are great pictures. It looks like it was a nice day. I hope you have a good visit with your friend.
 
Thank you Elsa for the coffee and Triple Tuna pizzas this morning. Have to be careful my neighbors don't trip you on Tuesdays wanting those pizzas.
Sounds like a nice hike yesterday and awesome pics, too. So funny on Lola and the jumping out of her skin thinking the cleaner was after her. :lol:
I got rid of my pop-up psychic, thanks to a call to Norton. It turns out the reason I can't import pics is the camera, so back to the store it goes.
Enjoy your time in Seattle and hope the weather cooperates for an afternoon hike.
 
I would love some tea little one. Sadly Buster doesn't like tuna water, that was Maui's favorite drink, well one of her favorites.

Buster does like bacon and chicken and kitty grass. So if you got that, you can bring her some.

The boyz have names....watch for the reveal coming soon....

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I never did make Seattle. Barb had to cancel, so I stayed out and got some things done around the house. Almost all caught up. YAY! Lola got to chase the vacuum so she was happy. Bug watched from afar, and Elsa was nowhere to be seen, Normal for vacuum day. :lol: :lol:

Hi Jane - THX on the pics. I'm glad you liked them. :-D Me too on Lola - poor kitty! She was back at it tonight, so I guess the cleaner and I are forgiven. :lol:

Hi Rachel - LOL - Lola and Bug would be happy to make you some tuna pies, even without the nip! :lol: I so love tuna melts! YUMMMMMMMM! Me too o Lola, it has been a mellow day for her, so far, short of the marathon runs as often as she can,. Those I think of as Lola being Lola. YES, me too on the walk yesterday - It can be so nice down there and i like the fact that I can leave the zoo behind if I want. :cool:

Hi Ann - It was a great day here yesterday, a nice hike too. I felt so bad for Lola, she really thought that evil thing in the shower was going to get her. Poor girl! She is all better now, and paid it no mind tonight. OH YAY on your pop up stuff - I an so glad that you got that resolved. Bummer on the camera, but I'd take it back too. THX on the rest, weather was OK, never made Seattle, she had to cancel. Oh we;ll, we will get together next week.

What a beautiful day for your hike to the shore yesterday. I'm glad you were able to leave the droves of people behind. I love the pics of the fungi and the sea things (are they plants or animals?). Isn't it great to go walking on the beach at low tide? We used to find lots of neat things on the Long Island beaches when I was a kid.

Sorry your coffee companion had to cancel today, but at least you were able to put your day to good use. And, besides, you have Elsa to make wonderful coffee for you!

Poor Lola! I hope she will not be spooked when in the bathroom now.

I'm sorry, Lola...I had to giggle a little bit when I heard your bean startled you into thinking the shower cleaner thing was gonna git you! Kitties are so funny that way. I startled my civvie Petey, the other day when he was playing with a toy in the bathroom while I was showering. I heard a thump, so I peeked out around the shower curtain to see what he was up to. I guess he wasn't expecting to see me, because he jumped up and bolted out of there :lol: ! Sounds like Lola is mellowing (anti-jinx)!!!

Hi Ella - we did get lucky with the weather yesterday - sure as nice to have the sun. Me too on the droves! :-D THX too on the pics - the sea ones were anemones, animals, we get alot of them here, in all shapes and sizes and colors. OH ye son the low tide walks. I love that. I will have to get back to waking the whole accessible shore when the tides are really out. It's about a 12 miles trek, but ever so fun with all the things one can find. I haven't done that hike in a while. and yes on today. It was productive, so that is good. Seattle will be back on next week. YUPP! Elsa came through for me too! :-D Lola did OK tonight, she wasn't spooked at all. YAY!

Hi Amy - Oh too funny on Petey! That is kinda what it was like with Lola - so startled she jumped and knocked everything over. :roll: ;-) :lol: :lol: she was so sure that the shower thing had done it. I know on Lola... in a way she is mellowing, slowly.... She went to sleep on the towels in the bathroom tonight, and has been sleeping there ever since. mellow.... anti-jinx!
 
WOW...Lola sure does get over things fast! I can picture the entire ordeal with Shasta in place of Lola...only difference, she would never have let me pet her afterwards or put her back on the towels. At least not in the 24 hours to follow! :lol: :lol: :lol: Glad you enjoyed the shore yesterday...even with all those people hogging your shoreline! ;-) Hope you have a wonderful evening, Michelle!
