The bean slept in! :o  I slept thru my +3 alarm. Good thing Leo is bouncing.

I awoke this morning to a kitty pressed up so tightly against me staring at me with big kitty eyes and purring up a storm......awwwwww! We had a good test, shoot and feed and Leo is still a member of the CPC! Looks like we've got some bouncing going on today, good thing, I can give Leo's ears a rest today.

Well our cold snap has finally ended....good riddance! It's mild and snowing at the moment. I figured I would take Leo over to his DGP's for a few days, just to get out, he's become a very lazy kitty here. Plus it will be nice for him to go outside as well, and we can't forget that his grandbeans miss him as well.

Physio is going well, my soft tissues are still majorly inflamed and I have to go for massage so physio can work on my joints next. I am not looking forward to massage, it's going to hurt!

Have a great day all.

Re: 1/21 Leo AMPS 257, +4 110

You needed the extra sleep Tracy while dealing w/some healing, right?

I've checked on your weather up there.....Its freakin', gosh darn COLD!!!!!

It feels like spring in Houston the last few days.....sending you lots of warm weather to warm up the temp and heal your soft tissues.

Lucky you Leo, getting to go to the Grandbeans house!!! Have fun, get some fresh air and stretch your legs a bit. Tracy wishing you continued healing. Slow and steady will get you there.
Have a good trip!

Re: 1/21 Leo AMPS 257, +4 110

Good morning, guys! Lovely WCR this morning! I had never really contemplated how far north you are.... brrrr!!!! Guess I'll stop muttering about my 26F!!!

Have you looked in to fish oil at all for your inflammation issues? I've found a high dose (4000+mg of EPA/DHA per day) of high quality fish oil has done wonders for me in terms of inflammation... might be worth a look! So sorry that your massage might be painful... be sure to ask them to go as easy on you as they can. I know that, for some reason, certain massage techniques on my upper arms and legs are extremely painful even when done gently... anything involving kneading with the fingertips. After discussing it with my therapist, a simple change in technique... sweeping motions with the palms on those areas and I found I was getting the benefits of massage without all the stabby pain.

I'm sure Leo will love his visit with his grandbeans!! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Yay that Leo broke that bounce!! Good boy.

Hope you all got out to your DPs house today, Tracy. I'm so sorry that the PT causes so much pain. SEnding you many hugs and healing vines.

Stay warm.

Re: 1/21 Leo PMPS 338/311

Good grief!! We have a pink PMPS

We are out at the grandbeans, we walked in the door and of course Leo found some kibbles on the floor and ate them up before i could even register what it was, yes he was that fast. I remember the days when Leo hated kibble and refused to eat it, why can't he still be like that? What a rotten cat! I'm hoping that's the cause of the pink. Bleech...........

Why Leo! You little kibble scrounger! And now look at you, all pink! Not a very macho color you know.

I hope the inflammation clears out soon. I'm sending healing vines for you.

Leo,Leo, Leo.... what are we going to do with you? Kibble? Kitty knows contraband when he sees it. Hopefully it will clear his system soon. Well the morning sure was nice!

Good luck with the massage, and the physio - I hope all goes well and that healing continues. Mannie wondered if you needed some KTSS chicken soup - he says it works wonders on everything!

Enjoy the rest of your day. :-D

Hi, Tracy! I agree with Christie -- your massage shouldn't hurt that much and s/he should use a different technique in the tender areas. Massage is supposed to be healing, not painful and stressful!

Leo! and I thought kibble was beneath you now that you're on a wet-food diet! :-D

Sorry Tracy, but couldn't help laugh at your description of Leo tearing after the kibble.
Checkers does the same. He didn't like any brand, until he couldn't have it any more. Now he smells it in a closed cupboard, and goes nuts trying to get at it.

I'm sorry you hurt, Tracy.

Kibbles are the forbidden fruit...Trix turns into a furry little bolt of lightening when kibbles are around! She really cracks me up, because she plays all innocent and uninterested when I'm watching, but if I turn my back for a split second, she is inhaling kibbles as fast as she can.

-15C? I don't want to do the math and figure out the "F" vlaue - I know it's way too cold for my blood  !

I hope all the therapy isnt too painful, and is starting to do some good!!!

The contrabandista strikes again!
