Yesterday's Condo

Gabby was all cuddles in the middle of the night. I'm not sure at what point she moved, but when the alarm went off, Gabby was sitting on the floor staring at me. I clearly was not moving fast enough since I got yelled at once I staggered to the kitchen. Gabby was decidedly in hoover mode and was keeping a close eye on Gizmo's bowl. (Gizmo was in grazing mode and I had to keep moving his bowl otherwise, Gabby would have inhaled his food.)

The weather here is miserable. The sun's out but it's 2 degrees with wind chills down to -25. I suspect that those of you north of Chicago are experiencing even colder weather and the east coast folks are getting snow (again). Stay warm!

Good morning!

Looks like neither of us was moving fast enough this AM! I have to do the same thing with my civie's bowl or Chaos would eat it all, too. By the way, today was the day Chaos finally started pawing at the door and meowing since my move back to the bedroom. You predicted it, you were right! Here's hoping for good numbers today- Gabby's looking nice so far!

(ok I admit that we are supposed to go down to 50 and I was annoyed at the cold spell...sorry....I should not be even thinking that 50 degrees is cold...) Hope you keep warm today!

I thought that in Chicago they don't believe in "wind chill". It's windy all the time, right?

Hope Gabby girl gives you some nice numbers today. Yikes - 2 degrees; guess I will not be coming to Chicago to see Oprah in the winter season, not that I had tickets. I think I will stay here for now.

Ella - the "windy" in Windy City refers to our gasbag politicians, not the weather. Although with days like today, either reference would be correct!

It really says something, when after spending a couple days in Chicago, Boston begins to feel quite tropical in comparison.

I wonder what Gabby and Gizmo do all day while you're at work. I like today's numbers, exceptin' the yellow one.

It looks like it's going to be a busy night.

The kitties have been very active. Even after the first installment of dinner was fed, every time I walked into the kitchen I had both cats following. (That's always a sign that Gabby's numbers are dropping.) Gabby has been taunting Gizmo. She took off down the hall. Gizmo had a, "Huh?" look on his face and went racing after Gabby. Of course, she did not permit him to join her in the cubes. I heard toys scattering and figured it was Gizmo. Nope. It was Gabby. She planted herself in a small protected spot and Gizmo sat above her on a bench. They just sat there, nose-bumping-nose until Gabby took off again with Gizmo in pursuit. The silly kitten keeps wandering around humming. Gabby is clearly feeling good.

I like your condo today...gasbag politicains :lol: I never knew that.

I'm happy that Gabby is feeling so good and full of herself. It looks like you might have a late night coming up. ~O)

Uhhhhhh Sorry! :shock: Duchess apparently wanted to tell Gabby herself how cold it was here in MN this a.m., and that she didnt want to get out of bed either (at least thats what I think she was trying to say). :lol: I cant believe she just sat on the computer, which is also sitting on my lap! dancing_cat

Hope you dont mind my lack of editing. Actually, these are the cliff notes. It was much longer to start with. :lol: I figured of all people it might make you smile. :mrgreen:

It IS coooooooold! I've been wondering today how thermometers know not to factor in wind chill with their readings. It seems if it *feels* like -25 or whatever, that is what the thermometer should feel. Off to google that...

Stay warm...and awake! Looks like Gabby has some excitement planned. I hope you can bump her up and keep her surfing some nice greens.

Wow, there's a big drop for Gabby. Slow it down girl!

We had the snow today and will be getting the bitter cold over the next few days. Not looking forward to that!

Great numbers for Gabby tonight... hope she just eases up a bit! The Gabby and Gizmo stories always bring me a smile!
