Good Morning,
A tired 2AM for me. Had to shoot late. Boots is doing well. She's eating. A little at a time. I made the mistake
of getting on the internet, regarding Boot's ulcerated mass. http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=87328#p935561
I read only 10% are benign. So I'm a bit heavy hearted.
I know I should just wait for the test results to come back, before I make any conclusions. Maybe she is that 10%, but
she has a lot of the other symptoms mentioned. Loss of hair, a little sore on her nose that comes and goes,
sores on her skin. Her weight loss has been gradual, 3lb.in the last couple years, maybe longer. Anyway,
I'm tired and being a debbie downer :sad: as my kids would say. Love all you guys. Thank you again for your kind
words and help.

Good morning, I'm glad Boots' dental went well and she's doing well!! I know it's going to seem like forever until you get her test results. Stay positive. Sending good results prayers and vines to you. Hugs and scritches from us. mary and oliver

Glad the dental went well. :smile: Easy to be downhearted at 2am when you're tired, and the 'net, with it's wealth of info,
can sometimes be a curse as well as a blessing :-|

Morning guys. Glad all went well with the dental. Think positive on the test results. Paws crossed and prayers all comes back good. It is hard to not be a debbie downer I know the feeling my DH gets mad at me when I get down about things. Take care and have a great Monday!

Hi guys .. I just caught up with boot's condo report .. Try to think positive and hope that the mass is just simply from tartar build up .. if blood work the previous week looked ok, that is a good sign, right? ((hugs)) Hang in there, and update us when you can ...

This type of cancer normally doesn't show up in the blood work. Most of the time it's found through
dental work.

I'm so tired. I'm at emergency with my daughter. she is type 1 diabetic and has gastroperisis.
She's been throwing up non-stop. Might be the flu. either way arghh. I need sleep.

Booty's eating pretty well. If she has it (scc), I will learn everything I can. The conventional treatment is not
that effective. This type of cancer when it's in the mouth is bad and within a year most cats don't make it and that's
with conventional treatment. I'm exploring other treatments as well, that will give her a better quality of
life. Hopefully I won't have to though.

Home...Hannah's still in triage sleeping. Came home to check Boots and Fiona, give my golden r.a bathroom break.
Booty's sugars look like they might be coming down. :smile:

It's been a roller coaster ride today. Between Boots and my daughter, my head is spinning. Just got home
from the hospital for the 3rd time today. My daughter would get sick right before they were ready to discharge
her.

Got Boot's shot 1hr. late because I was at the hosp. poor girl...got her pain med. late too. She's feelin
the pain med. now. all stretched out. :smile: Forgot to put the BS along with the + ...will do that now. I'm sleep
deprived and it shows.

Sending Boots healing and good news vines and many prayers for her and your daughter. I know you are worried about them both immensely. Keeping you all in our prayers and I hope you get some rest.
 
Better numbers today. Boots ate the best she has since getting back. She's tired though. I'm sure the pain
meds. add to that.
