Good morning fellow sugar cat slaves,

Today marks one month that we are members of the FDMB family and I can't believe our progress. I was rereading my first post here. I was feeling pretty confused and asked for help, which I received in kind abundance. My replies tended to be along the lines of: "Test before every shot? Really?" ) thinking: that can't be necessary and "Feed ONLY wet food? Really?"and "Give shots exactly 12 hours apart? Really?" thinking: that can't be necessary. I thought we'd never be able to do all that. Well, guess what? We were able and now it is routine. All the animals are used to it and Basil's BG is amazing us. Thank you all again.

WCR: Last night, I had a hard time getting to bed even though I was dead on my feet. Basil was playful and having a great time with some catnip. He seems perky today, already had a romp on the screened porch and while not thrilled that today's FF is a non-fish flavor, he accepted it somewhat gracefully.

Basil starts the day with a very nice 101. He wishes healthy greens and blues to all the sugar cats of the FDMB family.

Thought I would get a 1.5 just to see what's going on in that period. This seems like a good number to me. I'll be out from about +3 to +7. DH will be testing.

And here's a 2.5, going down. I wonder if we'll see the 50s later today or if the new dose will kick in and put an end to those for a bit?

What a great post! Im also going to show Fluffy Basil's beautiful spreadsheet so he sees how nice it looks with green in it. :lol:

Just popping in to report this morning's +3 was 118. And this afternoon's +8:15 was 123. Surfin in the blue?

Happy 1 month anniversary on the board. Mine is 2 months.
I wish I could remember my first post.
Look how far you and Basil have come since then!

Thanks, Randi! I'm liking this number. Liked his numbers all day, really.

BTW, you can go back to the old read-only site and find your original post, I'm sure.

I just fed Basil a tad and Sonbean will test at +4 just to be sure.

We'll leave food out all night.

Congratulations on your anniversary, Lydia & Basil! Isn't it amazing to remember those overwhelming first days? So glad your effort has been rewarded.
 
It is difficult to believe it's only been a month! Still looking good tonight with 73 at +4. I gave him the rest of his food and some frozen cubes and am going to sleep. Thanks everyone.
