Good Morning Lantus Land! ~O) ~O) ~O)

It is a three cup morning here as I stayed up an extra hour past bedtime, snow last night, cold this morning 16F and temps. expected to drop. Tonight is going to only be 4F, yes that is 4 degrees, so windchills will be below zero. January in Cleveland....love it or leave it.

From now through Feb. we will see snow and bitter cold as the arctic jet stream overturns for the spring season. Somewhere in my garden right now are little tiny flowers of spring growing...waiting for the winter mid-season thaw to burst forth into beautiful white blooms and the snow fleas will dance around them encouraging their pollination.

Everybody is up and running, chasing, hiding, pouncing....I don't recall getting foster kittens yesterday? Not real sure what to shoot this morning as the 55's that Attie is throwing me have me nailbite_smile nailbite_smile . So I shot a 3.0F as opposed to a 3.25S :lol: Although the shed is a bit drained so I may get to see some breathing room numbers today.

Speaking of the kitten room....we may indeed have 3 client cat-guests next week. We'll know more by Monday if I have to arrange transport and set-up in there for 3 guests. Halloween, Mo, and Lilly....if it happens it will certainly be a test without my lovely Krueger :cry: (GA) to welcome them.

Man your heart got a workout yesterday huh. I'm going to read about the snow fleas when I get more downtime. I had no idea they served a purpose. Saw them once jumping in a bucket of maple syrup and it freaked me out.

ENjoy your "foster" kitties this morning LOL. Another beautiful number for Attie.

So much for breathing room numbers.... ~O)

Opened up the kitten foster room to check and make sure things are in order. You know how it can get with a spare bedroom...things can get tucked away in there if you are not using it often enough. :lol:

So 3 animal carriers taken to the basement and a few items placed in the wicker chest. Not too bad! We'll give a nice dusting as it was cleaned and sterilized when it was closed up, give the cat tree a vacuum and sterile spray down again, trim up the loose thistle threads, locate the litter boxes and ...we're ready for company.

Lotsa work being a temporary foster mom! I wish we had someone like you here!!!
Nice numbers for Attie. Snow fleas! can't wait to see them here, they signify good temperatures for getting out in the woods (not too cold).

The down side of a healing pancreas -- monitoring and drops into even better numbers. Attie just wants to keep you busy and make sure you won't be paying too much attention to those "other" visitors.

Stay warm. Our weather here is not much different although we haven't gotten hit with all of your snow.

FANTASTIC numbers - and all so exciting. Love it - so good to check on Attie every morning and see such pretty green. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

and very very nice on the three kitties guest room - good luck, and I am sure that it will be a win win thing. :-D

OMG!!!! It is COLD! Says on 12F right now. We're going to get brutally cold tonight.

I just swept snow off the back step, but doubt Gary will be around. Cleared the path for him, but highly unlikely to show. I hope he is somewhere warm. He wasn't in the lodge and I just put double socks in there for warmth tonight. One is supposed to last longer the 12 hours...paws crossed if he decides to use the lodge late tonight or early morning.

Attie was riding some waves today, not sure what that means but he stayed below 100 overall. Might be an indication the pancreas is starting to finally be strong enough to influence his numbers and veto the liver effect?
