Hello Hello LL!

This morning was going to be a dosecrease to 1.25U but i am pretty sure I got a fur shot! Darn :-x Well, this evening I will try again.

WCR - we had poo this morning :RAHCAT
Last night at midnight Webber came into the bedroom and meowed (unusual for him). I got up to feed them thinking they were hungry and all four ate like it was their last meal.

Every time I thought I gave a fur shot, Gabby hit greens! I'm hoping that's the case for Webber.

:mrgreen: Thanks you guys! I guess I will be going home sometime today to check his BG and see if we get lucky. At what time do you think would be good? I can go about anytime today but only once. +5, +6, +7??

It looks like you typically test at +5. I can't tell from your SS if this is Webber's nadir but I suspect that +5 will be good.

Thank you Nicole, you too. I admit I was happy with his AMPS even though I am pretty sure I got a fur shot. The last few morning had been in the 300's.

You know what's worse than a fur shot? More than once I got a really great Preshot number and I was sooooo excited to get on the board and post it I left the syringe cocked loaded and ready to roll laying on the countertop and spent 2 hours reading condos etc, then I saw it there :evil: At least with a fur shot you have a chance that something went in. But in the end my luck with fur shots paid off, after about 3 in a row I decided to start his OTJ trial, heck he was already doing on his own!

Ive done that ONCE with the insulin (that I know about :roll: ) and MANY times with her other meds that get administered at the same time! Hahahha! SOOOOOOO glad Im not alone there. Thanks for the confession. :mrgreen:

I think Webber spend the whole day in the yellows. Nice :cool:

Forgot to mention that his diabetes symptoms have gone away--no more drinking alot and peeing alot. I guess that means that even though the numbers don't show it, the Lantus is doing something.

I am pretty darn sure he got the full 1.25 dose tonight. I am going to get some more testing before I go to bed tonight.

I like the stripe on Webber's nose; it's cool!
You're lucky to be able to go home to do a test. I work about an hour away so that's out of the question.

Thank you all for your well wishes and cheers! Yep Libby I guess something got in :-D

I do feel lucky do be close enough to work. Fortunately when I do run home the traffic is non-existant.
