Trix is still on a roll, enjoying this dose...although, she did get shorted a drop this morning. She really jumped when I did her shot - so much so, that the needle came out. There was still a drop of juice on the tip of the needle...but fortunately it was only a drop, and not more.

Many extra prayers need to go out today...so many that I don't even want to try to list everyone, for fear that I'll forget someone. So, all of LL....kitties, beans, civvies, extended families...are all in my prayers, today and always.

Have a great Sunday, everyone! Today is my first Sunday off since early December...time to catch up around the house - yay :roll: !

Hi Amy, it looks like another nice day for Trixie, and she's not missing that drop. Hope this is a day off for you, or is it tbp?

Yep, my first Sunday "off" in well over a month! DH is off at a swim meet...just me and the kitties this morning.

I always feel bad when I don't exactly know how much actually got in (whether it's because of kitty flinching/jumping or my own). But there hasn't been a time yet that I've seen a drastic change in number because of it ~ and it looks like you gave the perfect dose for Trixie this morning! Congrats on the day off, and good luck on the catch-up time! Enjoy your day!

Pretty nice day for Miss Trixie. Have a wonderful day relaxing, Amy. If you are like me, you start worrying about all the things you need to catch up on in the house. Just forget about it and sit down and spend some good downtime. You deserve it! And thanks for always stopping by to say hello in Simon's condo and to send healing prayers to Cleo.

i hope DH enjoyed the swim meet. We have a few going on in our area this weekend too. I had hoped to be able to go and watch some racing, but elected to hike the trails today, as it has been a while since I could go.

Nice day for Trixie! I'm glad she is settling in to this dose. Some relief for you. How are the civvies? Hope you enjoyed your day off!
 
A little flat tonight, but we beans are A-OK with that - we are beat! DH did well at his swim meet today - yay!

Melissa- the civvies are doing pretty well, thank you for asking! I know I have them on a "triple mix" - two kinds of hairball fuds plus their old Orijen. The idea is to see if a higher fiber food with a simpler ingredient list (one that lacks things like berries and rosemary extract) helps settlle their digestive tracts. They are eating well (they have turned into little piggies, and I love it!), Petey has gained back two pounds in just under 3 weeks, and Zen has remained stable - which is better than losing. DH has reported that the LB is slightly better, but it's really only been a few days since everyone has been on board with the new food plan. No one has barfed AT ALL in almost three weeks...considering it was pretty much a daily event when they were eating Blue Basics, this is HUGE. So, now we wait. I do have to take Pete back in a few weeks to have his calcium levels rechecked.
 
Amy, it's so good to hear you happy about the civvies diet. OH, how I wish I could give Checks dry food, to put weight on him.

What a nice day, Miss Trixie had. :-D I hope she surfs blue for you all night long. :-D
