We didn't use the R insulin this morning. Will test later in the afternoon and see if he is going up and if he is will try the .25 units again. He usually starts going up after 2:00 pm. I am hoping that the new dose will work . Toby is still doing fine . Have a great day, Peg and Toby

I don't know he seems to do good one day after a increase then he starts going up again. Now we aren't even seeing any green. Gets kind of discouraging. I know one day at a time.

Yes, and sometimes, just one test at a time! I remember the frustration. But I simply kept repeating our mantra, "we'll just keep plugging along." You know, that's all we can do.

Keep in mind that numbers are numbers. They're not the cat. And Toby "is still doing fine."

Didn't give Toby the R tonight because mother-in-law is in the nursing home and not expected to make it the next few days. So just gave regular shot because may be called out anytime. Didn't want to give the R and have to leave him. Peg and Toby
