Good Morning, Everyone,

We all had a good night. Rusty slept between his beans, as always, and this morning had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Chicken with a side of FF T&G), a schmooze with his mamabean, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator. This is a good day for a btb nap. An hour ago it was 40 degrees. Right now it is 28 degrees with high winds and blowing snow. Tonight it's supposed to go down to -10 and all next week the highs are supposed to be in the single digits. I'm rethinking whether I want to do a 10-mile ski in the High Peaks region tomorrow. These conditions are not optimal! The high there is supposed to be +6, but that won't be until the afternoon! I have all day to think about it and see what my friends want to do.

We are sending our deep sympathy to Camille, Lyresa, and Jenny and Brian on the passing of their beloved kitties. Also sending love and support to Julie and Punkin. Many healing vines going out this morning to Mannie, Zener, Moonie, Do Lou, Noni, Bubba, and all kitties and beans in need.

Wishing everyone a good day. Tonight is our monthly potluck and I have to make a main dish. It will be "Nameless Noodles" :lol:

p.s. I just read that we won the "Sweets Basket" in the FDMB fundraiser lottery! Wow!!

Nice report on Rusty and pretty blue AMPS. Wow, I sure would rethink the ski trip with those temps. I hope the rest of the group agree. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Ella. Double congratulatios for winning the Sweets Basket and for Rusty's nice blue number this morning. What a wonderful way to start your day.

I hope your ankle is feeling better. I know that you've been looking forward to the skiing excursion tommorrow but remember it's better to be safe than sorry. That forcasted 6 degrees could actuually be closer to 0 on the ski trail. Be safe. (Sorry, that was the grandfather side of metyping that :lol:

:shock: :shock: :shock: on the weather! WOW, I hope things improve some, and that you will be able to go on your ski. I dunno.... sounds like maybe not. That is bitterly cold... how is your ankle btw? Good luck with your decision.

It is a very nice start today for Rusty - love the amps, know too that shortly he will be at the lagoon, assuming his duties as Lagoon Meister.

Morning Ella and Rusty woo hoo on winning the sweets basket, yum I am jealous!!! Nice day for Rusty in the green lagoon! Good luck with the decision on the hike if it were me I would skip due to the extreme temps but I am a sissy now living in CA! Have a great Sunday!

Wow, your temp are always worse than ours, altho we have the same wind driven snow. This kind of wind, is about the only thing that terrifies me!

Congrats on winning the Sweets Baskets. :-D

Nice number for Rusty. A temperature around zero is great for X-country skiing, unless there is wind. Then it's no fun. Hope your ankle is better, and the weather improves.

Thanks for visiting, everyone. I decided not to go on the long ski tomorrow: still very windy and very, very cold. I'll probably regret it. Edward and I may do a snowshoe in the afternoon.
