Yesterday's condo

I so knew this was going to happen after that beautiful run of numbers yesterday and last night to start off...just knew she was going to bounce this morning. But the last couple days makes me believe I have her on a good dose now it is just retraining her liver not to freak out on those lower numbers.

Okay, liver, listen up: about time for you to calm down for Musette and Mel! If only it were that easy... :-D . Will be interesting to see how quickly Musette comes down, Mel. That does look like a good dose for her now.

Oh if was only that easy...lol But really that is much lower than I expected her to bounce today after yesterday. Normally I would have been looking at a number about 100 pts. higher after a day like yesterday. Plus I'm not sure when she last ate last night because I had the startings of a major headache so I combined the cats dinner and bedtime meal and left it out for them to graze on overnight and went to bed after her +3 test...most of it was still left when I turned in but was licked clean this morning so she could have eaten very close to when I took that morning test.

Well at least even her food spikes don't seem as high and come down quicker now as well. I keep trying to get Maxwell to talk to her about this whole OTJ business but I don't think she is listening to him anymore than I could get her to read the stickies in the beginning on how Lantus was suppose to work for kitties. :lol: I really don't care if she ever goes OTJ but I will always strive for it.

Looks like Musette's coming down pretty nicely after her bounce, Mel. Maybe her liver was listening to us all today? :-D

Maybe I should have named her Tigger isn't of Musette because she definitely is full of bounce tonight so something in her is made of springs..lol

Of course I guess I also don't have to worry about her going too low on me tonight since I have to go out for about 5 hours because it is the first preformance of my DH's new band.

Even knowing why she is so high today doesn't make it any easier to see her in those high pinks, but again I think I am more comfortable leaving her for a few hours this evening with her up there, than I would be if I had just given her a full dose on a mid to low 100s.

But I really wish her liver would settle down, I hate this roller coaster for her.

Relax and have fun at your DH's band's performance, Mel! You need and deserve a break. Musette's doing well on her current dose...just got to be steady and patient (not always easy for me, I know...) to wait for her bounces to clear.

Tomorrow will be a brand new, fresh day for sweet Musette and her liver in training. :-D

I talk to Kit's liver all the time....sometimes, I swear, it listens to me lol.

It's like a Jumping Castle with Kitten and Musette in there, bouncing away...and their families trying to tell them to get off and settle down. LOL. I think that vision is coming b/c of my sleepiness today.

Have fun and make sure you relax at the performance!!
