Morning LL! Moonie is of to a low blue start--I have to go to WW before her +3 when she usually drops, so I will rush back from there after--You know I worry about her!
I am shooting her with reg 0.5 as even that hair takes her low, and I would rather keep her safe, after all she is a long term diabetic & I like to keep her comfortable..She wil never be OTJ & that's fine-she feels great
when she is in the 70-90 numbers around her nadir..surfing there is her fav..BUT kitties do what they want,
right?? Tonite I am doing a lecture on Angels, am just waiting for the affirmation, & I will have to leave right after her pm shot-- ohmygod_smile What a crazy bean!! I always worry!

Nice start for Moonie today! She is such a sweetie and you are a great bean! I know what you mean about long term diabetic and OTJ not a probability. All that matters is she is happy and spoiled, which you have taken care of for her. :-D

Beautiful start to the day, Moonie knows what she is doing and will be fine. good luck with the weigh-in. I envy you with Moonie's nice even numbers.

How is the new sheet for your SS working? Are the colors filling in? If you click and hold on the 2012 tab you can drag it to the left to be the first hting that opens when we link to the SS.

2nd drop in 2 days to 40's...One more & I am reducing to sk 0.5--Yes??

Moonie didnt eat except what she ate at pmps, like 4 tsp ff.. She threw up twice and I see she isnt eating--
I fell asleep & just found her this way tried some foods, but she isnt eating at all..
I think I am giving her a pepcid in a greenie--Hope she will eat that!
Anyone up?? please help.
 
She ate the pepcid in a greenie & I hope she will eat--I will never sleep tonite but she has settled into her cat bed--
Prayers needed--Hope My vet comes back soon--Think she will be back this week I hope!

Sending mega vines and prayers...hope it's just a fluke.

Roni, do you have any chicken broth? Maybe you could try to get her to eat some of that? Baby food? That's the stuff everyone said to try on Tawny when she was ill.

Any possibility she got into anything contraband or toxic? A plant? Dog food?

Her #s went high kind of all of a sudden, didn't they?

Thanks & yes her numbers are probably from a bounce as she was 40 this morning, so I did the usual HC & temptations.twice this am----Tonite,.she was fine & didnt moan or anything like she did 15 days ago when we rushed her to the ER..So far no loose poo- geez I am so worried!
I gave her a pepcid & pray it will settle her tummy--Moonie was never a big throw up cat, but she must have done this in last two hrs...I fell asleep & just woke up & found the pukus..--she is looking out the window--If she is in anything, she is in a bounce tonite--Maybe that's good.

I will be up for a while Roni. Ditto what Desi said about baby food - has worked for us before too. At least her numbers are high enough you don't have to worry about hypo...

What is she throwing up? Was it just food, or frothy stuff, etc?

Hi Roni, I know how worried you are. I hope Moonie's tummy settles down and she eats a bit. Thank you, Melissa for being a night owl.

Do you have a food mill by any chance? A grinder would probably work OK, but a food mill is what you use to make baby food.

The broth by itself would totally be a good start though. Good luck :smile:
 
Roni: I would not let her have human chicken in broth. Sometimes the companies add things like soy to the broth that our cats shouldn't have. They also shouldn't have tuna in spring water because if you look closely, many of them have vegetable broth would soy. The only broth I ever give my kitties is homemade that I get from boiling a whole chicken down to nothing.

Sometimes it's just best to let their tummies rest.
 
She is Eating plain cooked chicken-I just cooked it -chicken cutlet-plain--Yah! she ate some--I'll stay out here with her--drinking water a lot, that's good--OK she has chicken in her! Hope it stays down-

aw, poor moonie. we hate pukus. i hope the chicken was just the thing. sometimes when you get barfy you stay that way for a while, so if she vomits it up, i might just let her tummy settle down without anything in it. a few hours and try again.

you know they read your condo - maybe she saw you were going out and she had a different idea for you today!

how did your talk go?
 
Lecture was cancelled because of the snow that hasnt happened here yet!
It's fine, I am glad I didnt leave Moonie tonite--So far she is meatloafed in her office(between the couch & recliner) and has not had any reaction-whew so far!
I am going to try to get her into her cat bed in bedroom so we can do our normal sleep--

everything's cancelled here because we're having incredible flooding after several days of monsoon rain and before that a couple of days of snow. craziness.

i love it that moonie has an "office" inbetween the recliner and sofa. that's awesome!

hope you sleep well. sounds like moonie's going to!
