Merme first yellow numbers!! so excited!

I'm going to test him at +7 to see if Nadir lowers more, his +3 isn't accurate, he got 264 but strip was half cover with blood, so registered approximated number.

Yesterday and today were difficult to test him, his blood isn't coming as easily than before, seems like getting thicker, poking him like 3 times or more until success, could this have something to do with his BG levels?
 
I was just looking at his SS--he's been diabetic for awhile, right? So this is unusual and not just him/you being new to testing. Is it cold where you live? It is here, and Jude's ears take some extra warm up time. Beyond that, I haven't a clue. Maybe someone else will have some advice.
 
actually it's pretty warm here, I noticed that if Merme has 500-350 levels blood comes out more easily, than when he is 350-200, I don't remember how it was back in 2020 but then I was new with all this world, thank you so much! May I ask how you warm up bby Jude's ear?

I use two cotton infant mittens that I've filled with rice--I heat them in the microwave for about 14 seconds.

I used a pill bottle (or old camera film container) with warm/hot water in it, to warm Neko's ears.

I never used alcohol on the ears, just a very tiny smear of vaseline to help the blood bead up. And prevent the blood from hiding in her black ear hair.
