:roll: I hate funky meter strips.... Mannie had a great night last night, and well as all of us, hoped for a really great amps. Tested, got a 73 :shock: YAY! Thought well, let's give it another 15 minutes, make sure we aren't really falling. Voila!: 328 :shock: , tested again: 353. Seems that the 73 was a bad strip.... :YMSIGH: and what a bummer. so: we have bounced from last night's green run. Mannie had a nice day yesterday: started high yellow, slid down the a nice blue pmps, ended up green mixed with blue last night. I hope he clears this bounce soon, another slow slide down. Go Mannie!! cat_pet_icon

Usually the kitty alarm clock is one of the civvies. This morning it was Mannie: up close and personal. I was awakened by a purry furry face of twitching whiskers right between the eyes, gentle head butts :lol: Wow!: went to bed with him on my feet, woke up to his "feed me now" antics. Up the stairs we went: mission accomplished. Of course by the time I had everything set he was engrossed with the nanners, and I had to, once again, pry him loose. Once again we head into test with a nanner snagged in one of his claws. :lol: :lol: Go Mannie! Breffis consumed with gusto, even the auto feeder. WHOA!! :o There is hope yet! 3 P's accounted for - I never know on the LB, short of when half of it comes upstairs stuck on his paws. :roll:

Hi Michelle, Nice wake-up for you this morning. Bummer on the strips, however!! But terrific about the automat!!! Mannie will pass that course soon!

Mannie, What a party we had last night! What a great menu for the Wolf Moon! And the ice skating that you organized was super fun. All the way to the big rock (the one that looks like a giant mouse) and back and not a single kitty fell down. And we were all able to keep Tess away from the ice-fishing holes. And the fire was nice and cozy. And, boy did we howl! See you later for some chillaxin. My mamabean says we're going to "the city" tomorrow. I think that means I'm going too. Wonder what "the city" is.

Ok, so what's going on today? I didn't mention it before, but I got a 55 when I tested Shadow this morning! :o
I did the same as you Michelle, testing in 15 and got a 285.
Is it the Wolf Moon playing tricks on us?

Nice numbers last night Mannie...now, let's get out of those pinks and head down to greens again, okay!

Rusty! I Know - it was one of the BEST! The skating was fun, wasn't it. I was SO GLAD that Tess stayed away from the holes! :cool: I wonder if they could hear us howling in Alaska! I bet they did! I LOVED the menu - it was so fun to watch all the kitties try and make those wolf print cakes. Hey - chillaxin' today? I am so there! ~~ Mannie ~~ oh oh - you gets to go to the "city"? Dude - what is that??? I kinda remember stu writing about that - uh, do you have to go in that car thing??

It's all their faults--The Pen The strips, the meter!!! The MOON!!!--Hope Mannie has his best day Ever today without giant Olympic dives!!!

Mannie Boy, what a night! The foods were great, the fishing which I loves was such fun!! Couldnt skate cause of my knee, but everyone looked like it was such fun!! And dose Wolfs were so Kool to howl wif us!! It was great!! Magical night! Thanks for making dat so great--Hugs from Moonie :-D

Hiya! Just checking in to see how Manny is today. I hope bouncy boy clears it soon and gets back into the blue/green. Good job on dealing with the atuo feeder. I think I may have to get one of those when I find a new job. I hope my boys do as well as Manny.


OMG manny that was soo much fun last nite! i skated and fished and eated and hoowooooollled at the moon, it was the best night ever. Hanging by the fire with you and DL was my favorite part. So tired today, I'm chillaxin like most everybody else. I cant wait till the next one!

Hi Violet - me too. He seems to like the upper yellows today. Feeders are great - such a help when one has to work.

Hey Chaos - me too - I like hanging out by the fire - i do that alot at home too. I like ice fishing too - so much fun! Best part is grillin' what we catch. I hope the next party is soon - ah heck we can have one just to have one, ya know? See you!! ~~ Mannie

Nice to see Mannie coming down. I get the occasional bad strip, too. sometimes I check even three times to make sure I get a correct reading - poor Maggie's ears!
Maggie sure enjoyed the party and especially the beautiful snow. Everything on the menu was soooo good. When is the next party?

Michelle, that was very clever (I wanted to say astute, but wasn't sure I had the correct word. :lol: ), of you to test again. I would just have been overjoyed, and believed it.
Mannie gave you a really nice pmps, after a yucky day. Tomorrow's gonna be a good day, huh? :-D

Hi Ann - yep- i know on the strips. It's become a habit to retest the questionable ones... Mannie says to tell Maggie that we FOR SURE will have another moon party next full moon, be he is really hoping to find another excuse for another party sooner than that... :cool:

Hi Barb - thanks. I was so elated to see that 73 that i almost went with it - and sang that happy song we do when we get a green amps. then thought well ya know.... this is Mannie, and if he's still dropping i need to know that. so waited 10 minutes, tested again. BIG SURPRISE!, and huge deflation of my happy dance. :lol: :lol: I so wanted to keep that 73. and thx: every now and then I like to think that I can be clever, and astute... :-D

Hey Michelle: sorry I haven't been in to visit you and Mannie today. Work, work, work and testing the baby girl. Wow..interesting about the strip!!! I've tested twice a couple times...once when we got a 33 after she'd been much higher and it was a wrong number but I think it was because she moved and the blood pooled on TOP of the strip. Anyway...that was really smart of you to retest!

Great PMPS for Mannie...looks like he wants to have another nighttime party!

Loved the party last night Mannie!!! Now I need more of those wolfen niptinis!!! Or can you bring something to help me get back down to my good numbers?

Hi Marjorie - not too sure how wise I was, just thought best to see if he is still dropping... stupid strip! Not too sure on the night time party either... :lol: :lol: funny how one day these numbers mean dive, and then on others they hold the line. perplexing!

Gracie - I KNOW!! I think the peppermint niptinis worked the best - I'll be right over with a fresh batch.... my bean wants my good numbers back too.... she says there are some good ones, but she remembers when.... uhhhhh - what does that mean? i feel great! See you soon! ~~ Mannie
