Yesterday we were still bouncing.... another yellow and pink day.... :YMSIGH: IT seems that the pattern we had of one good day followed by one bad day has been replaced by one good day, followed by three bad days. :lol: In all fairness to the Nanner King, that good day had some really low numbers in there for a couple of hours. I guess Mannie really wanted some time of from all that good behavior. :lol: :lol: OK Mannie - time to get back to some serious business, OK? The 158 is a great start. :-D He did, however manage to raid his sisters fuds while I was inattentive and half asleep. ah Mannie..... LUBS YA BIG GUY! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie is sick of the snow. :lol: :lol: I found him several times yesterday staring out the slider door, hunched shoulders, with "that look" in his eye. I could have sworn I heard a couple of growls... :lol: He didn't even want to venture out - can't say that I blame him. He would have sunk so low in all that snow that we would not have been able to see him. His comment: "I'm too old for this..." Instead he spent alot of time nanner arranging. circle to line, line to circle, napping on each one. Way too funny! We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie, and back to some kneads today! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used,Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Such a high level of normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! Due to the containing HORRID NASTY ICY roads conditions this morning DGS is staying home with his mom today too, she will work from home today. I will miss him, but don't want to risk life limb and car trying to pick him up. : we are so iced up, driving is well: very treacherous! so.... it will be an at home day for me and Mannie and Elsa. Doing what - I have no idea. :lol: :lol:

Hey everybody! Well.... our pretty snow has turned into icy daggers... the skating rink is pelleted with frozen rain drops... the ski jump is well... icy! I say: LET'S GO TO THE BEACH!!! A warm sunny beach! with a bonfire! you guys in? now all we have to do is find one... See you! ~~ Mannie

Mannie may not like the snow, but you couldn't tell it by his AMPS. BTW, you know he thinks you are responsible for the weather. :lol:

Poor Mannie! That snow is terrible and now ice on top of it. Ugh. Looks like you will be house bound for a while longer. At least DGS is home where it is safe. You are going to go into Nicholas withdrawls though. Stay warm and snuggled in with the "kids" and have a great day Michelle!

Oh yes a beach. My toes won't work well on that ice. Maybe they gotz a warm beach in Florida. It's going to be 60's here today so we can hang out here, but no water. We could go play in the leaf piles outside our gate. Or we could go play on the swings and teeter totter at the park. It's right next to the drooler park. We could make funny faces at the silly droolers. - Tarragon

Poor dude can't go and make his morning rounds in the yard. :shock: :lol: yep, probably another day or two of dealing with this stuff, and staying on foot and out of the car! and yes on Nicholas withdrawal... oh well, back at it next week. :-D

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) Nice AMPS for Mannie and hope he surfs these nice blues and how about some greens, Mannie, too! Oh no, I just saw the +2; oh well that could be fuds as Mags always rises, too. Wow with your weather. It's not letting up any today, is it! Yes, good DGS's Mom can work from home in these kinds of icy road conditions. Hey, this is a switch with Mannie raiding his sister's fuds, sneaky!

Mannie, it's cloudy and cold here and will only get up to 65 degrees, so not good here for a beach. That sounds great to visit Mr. T and play in the leaves and then on to Weezer. 70 degrees is perfect! See ya soon.

'Morning Michelle........I've been thinking of you as I watch the news lately. That storm is horrid.

DD hit black ice yesterday, and ended up in a ditch. Darn snow is covering the ice. She's fine, car is fine. Mama got a few more grey hairs to cover.. :roll:

I'm glad you decided to stay home and be safe.

Checkers got to walk in the snow that blew into the screen porch yesterday. He wasn't impressed.

I bet that +2 is down by now. Mannie likes to worry you with the breffis spike. :-D

At least the +4 is down, I hope he continues. paws crossed, he's due for some blues. :-D and yes on the fuds switch: :lol: :lol: , silly boy! and yes on the weather. We are finally starting tow arm up some, so soon all this frozen stuff will be gone. We just have to get through this morning. :roll: :roll: :cool:

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - Love that photo! That is our sentiment her exactly. I am SO DUN with all this frozen stuff. It took forever to run it's course. we were supposed to be back to the 40's and rains by Wednesday, that sure didn't happen. :roll: I will gladly send any lingering remnants your way. :lol: :lol: today we thaw and melt, and so hope no one floods....

Hi Barb - missed your post - sorry! yep, this storm was a nasty one. I think we had it all from the ice to the sleet to the snow and the freezing rains. Now as we that we get the floods. Shesshhhh! oh wow on your DD - I am glad she is OK. I worry about my three - i know your sentiments. and yes - it is the same here. we had an ice layer, then a snow layer then another ice layer and then more snow.... what a mess! not fun at all. now the power outages too, as that snow and ice are so heavy on the lines, out goes the power. oh poor checkers - tall him that Mannie shares his sentiments!

Mannie--I iz in front of my lectric fireplace, my bean is home, I am happy & comfy, dont care mush for that white stuff, but my Dad bean seems to like it--Me & Momma bean stay ins & cooks stuff--I like it--and every now & then I gets some temptations-MMMmmm Now if I could just get some Cimmimum cookies..... confused_cat Stay warms all you kitties--I is hangin here! loves from Moonie!

Nice start for Mannie today...too bad he's such a hoover with Elsa's leftovers!!!

I've seen the news about how bad it is in your area. Good luck with all that ice and snow!!! It's amazing how nice it is to stay in and relax, watch some tv....until you're STUCK inside and can't go anywhere. All of a sudden it's a punishment instead of a treat!!!

Hi Michelle & Mannie,
Not a bad day of numbers at all. Kind of makes up for the weather! Boy, you really are getting hit! We could use some of that snow here. There's not nearly enough, and on Monday, after a frigid weekend, it's supposed to get up to 50 degrees!!
I hope you found enough to do today, Mannie (you too, Michelle). Rusty isn't going outdoors these days either: it's too cold and icy and we don't want him breathing all that cold, dry air.

Enjoy the evening and I hope that the weekend brings better weather. Stay dry!

I heard Tarragon's beans might be bringing him sushi leftovers, I think I'm gonna head over there and maybe he'll share!!

Hi Ella - yep, today was an OK day for him. I had hoped for a blue one, but this is steady and even, and he didn't go high, so an OK day. And yes on this weather! OMG - now we have heavy rains, winds, and flooding! sheshhhh! Oregon has been hit real hard too. oh wow on yours! It is so weird not to have snow there - and 50??? what the heck! thx: Mannie and I did find enough to do: walked for a while while there was still snow to walk in :lol: :lol: and then cleared areas of snow so that when it melts it's not tempted to visit the insides of my house. :roll: yep, we will stay dry. :razz:

Hi Tracy - oh yes on the roads! what a mess! it it's not snow it's fallen power lines or trees that couldn't handle the weight of melting snow, or CRAZY drivers.... i will be glad when we are back to our normal rainy wetness. :lol: :lol: Mannie agrees I am sure - nanners ruled again today. and thx - we are hoping for green too!

...a very nice blue surf for Mannie! I hope you can get out safely over the weekend, Michelle. Being housebound is only fun if you want to be at home. I did a lot of errands today and thought about those of you living in the northwest (my sister lives there, too) who are having to endure such awful weather. Hope it starts to clear up and dry up soon so that you and Nicholas can resume your river walks!
