Recap of yesterday's BG readings:

AMPS - 113, gave 1 drop Lantus
+2.5 - 105
+9 - 75
PMPS - 100, gave 1 drop Lantus
+2 - 109

This morning's AMPS was 96! :mrgreen: I think Cini's getting the hang of this. :-D Gave 1 drop Lantus and will monitor as well as I can. This morning has been a busy morning already and I was delayed in testing and giving Cini his insulin by 30 mins.

I'm running back and forth between my work computer and my personal computer pc_work laptop_smiley I love to be busy!

:-D Hey Julie.

I work for a major bank and in their IT department, so the laptop they give you is locked down to only do what you need to do for work. No Facebook,no web mail, no forum boards, we're lucky we have Google and even then you'll get a blocked message if you click the wrong link.

My work computer is in my bedroom. I have the shortest commute to work! :lol: And my personal computer is in the loft right outside my bedroom. And Cini sits in his bed between the two, so I pass him every time I go back and forth. I think he did this on purpose so he could take advantage of optimal ear scritching opportunities ;-) cat_pet_icon

Hey Linda, yeah I think I could get a half a drop if I needed to.

Technically what I am giving Cini now is most likely 2 drops or a "fat" drop. I draw the plunger to line up with the very bottom line of the syringe. The pics in the new to group sticky helped a lot with figuring out what a "drop" is. I am certain if I drew in insulin and then gently pushed it back in to the bottle, without pressing hard on the plunger, what would be left in the needle would be a true drop or "skinny" drop or half drop.

I think the next decrease after that would be to shake the Lantus box at Cini twice a day. :lol: :lol: :lol:

+6 BG was 72. That's the lowest Cini has been in the past 2 weeks. I hope he doesn't bounce!

Looks like surfing's over, Cini's 137 for his PMPS.

But it was nice to ride the green wave for a while :mrgreen:
