Good morning all -

I was happy to see something below 300 at my +1 this morning. Maybe the shed is finally getting built. We'll see how he is at this evening's pmps. Bash is eating fine, in good spirits and doing good grooming. He's pretty much a lay around and do nothing kitty (or lay next to you and ask for pets for hours - "no, no, no...I'm not done having you pet me yet Mamma Bean"), so kinda hard to judge the "energy" level.

Let me know if I did this condo thing right.

Great looking condo! :smile: Wonder if Bashful saw some blue today with that drop at +1. Keep filling that shed, Bashful!
 
Bash's +11 was 313 and his PMPS was 380. :sad: Bummed me right out...it had seemed like he was slowly (very) lowering. I keep reminding myself that this only Day 4 and I shouldn't expect miracles overnight.

He's still eating fine and seems alert and in fine spirits (other than hating the pokey thing). I am unable to spot check tonight, but will post AMPS in the morning.

He could have seen blue today with that early drop. Usually, if a kitty is fed (and eats) at their shot time, the +1 should be higher than the preshot. Since Bashful was dropping at +1, that usually is the signal for an action cycle. So this PMPS could be a little bounce. He'll come down.
 
Gone overnight (leaving shortly)...date night with the Honeykins. :) But getting up at 5:45 a.m. so I can be home in time for AMPS...ugh...sooooo not a morning person!

Your condo is looking good... job well done!

Bashful is currently filling his shed, so it's normal to feel a little impatient. Pls hang in there.

Also... and I'm warning you that you will likely get pestered with this, although you've mentioned that you cannot get a spot check in tonight, a check before your bed time is one check that we really really really like..... perhaps you knew that already.

Understood...and will always do whenever possible....this is probably in TMI land, but my honey does not drive and lives 45 mins away from me (he's on the same side of the river as my work). I usually spend the night there a couple nights a week. We are still trying to figure out logistics for this new 12/12 scheduling nightmare so I can take good care of Bash and still have a life and a relationship. As it is currently - for this first night away, I'm driving 1 hour from that side of town (work) to get home to check BG and give shot, then driving 45 mins BACK to the other side of the river to get to his house...then in AM driving 45 mins home to do check and give shot, then 45 mins BACK to that side of the river for work. Since I work until 5-5:30, I have to drive straight home (1 hour drive from work) in order to make it in time for his 12 hour shot, so I can't even go see him for a couple hours after work and THEN come home. We discussed me taking Bash with me over there, but Bash is shy, boyfriend bean's got his own cats and the long transport back and forth and unfamiliar territory would probably cause him stress and higher numbers at this point, so I decided against it. Love the boy bean, so I have to find ways to make this whole thing workable.
 
it was nice to see yellow this morning. Cassandra is right, there could have been some action today and even a bit of blue probably would have been enough to set off a bounce this early in the game (eventually that will settle down). Bashful is doing well so far, and you'll figure out a way to make the routine work. ((((Theresa))))
