Posting a bit late today because I had a bright and early appt to have the stitches removed from Ryleigh :-D Doc says Ryleigh made her New Year with the improvement that she's seen in just a couple of weeks after the 2nd surgery in as many months. Believes she very well is a miracle puppy, but I already knew that ;-) We can start to go for short walks as soon as the weather permits. 0 degrees is a bit cold for my girl, heck it's a bit cold for momma too, plus we got a bit of snow last night and more on the way this weekend.
Tommy's not paying much attention to the increase yet, but I'm pretty sure his Sterile Cystitis isn't helping any along with the blood in his urine. For a 19yr old he's hanging in there pretty good. I just keep doing the best I can for him and love, love love him. I'll tell you something, I had no idea what a hit a heated blanket would bring to my furbabies.
I hope that you all have a terrific Thursday :YMHUG:

So glad to hear Ryleigh is doing so well. I like Tommy's PMPS...better than pink!!

All you can do is your best. Tommy, I know for a fact, feels all that love, love, love you're giving him. You've been nothing but a GREAT mamabean to him. For goodness sakes, he's 19 YEARS OLD!! That's an accomplishment!!

I hope your New Year has started off perfectly!!!

Wonderful news about Ryleigh :-D !!! I hope it warms up soon, so you two can enjoy a nice little walk!!

Work that juice, Tommy! My cats huddle around the heating vents...I have no doubt a heated blankie would be a huge hit. I'm glad your furkids are enjoying it. Have a great night!

Yay Ryleigh!!! :-D

I really, really empathize with you on the sterile interstitial cystitis. Gracie had it the first three years if her life and it's the reason she is FD....we finally gave her steroids and that did it for the FD.

We also found our current vet and she does nutrition response testing and found that Gracie had super high levels if aluminum which was causing her IC. Once she started detoxing her....it went away. As of today, she hasn't had the IC since May, 2010.
