This is Walter's lowest AMBG since we started his OTJ Trial! :D:D:D Super excited for him!

Mandarin is also continuing to do well on 1 drop of Insulin. This is now his 8th day in normal numbers (below 120). However, he has had a few low blues here and there. I just reread the instructions for starting an OTJ Trial and here is what they say:

Mandarin probably meets those criteria... but I am just not sure if he is ready for a trial given his history. In the last 8 days, he has had:
22 BG tests that were between 50 and 80
14 BG tests that were between 80 and 99
4 BG tests that were 100 and above

What do other folks think? Would you give a trial another shot? Or should I wait a bit longer?
 
Hi Christine. Wow, both boys look so good! Congrats on Day 8 for Walter!

Mandarin looks pretty darn good too! He has had a few blues sprinkled in there, but they are normal numbers without meter variance except for the one and it's barely over 120. The blues that he got during the cycle look like food bumps but, then he brings it down again and they were when he started off in the 90s as a pre shot number. He's also had two 49s as pre shot numbers on 1 drop.....

Maybe give it a few more days with all greens before you try again. See what others think.
 
Oh I am so happy to see Walter's AMBG today! Not just green, but a very lovely green!:D:D:D

Took a look at Mandarin's ss. On the upside, for the last couple of weeks he's had all green AMPS except for today:rolleyes: and the AMPS is usually the hardest one to get in green! On the downside, he has had a few blue numbers that are in the 120s or higher. Personally, I think I would give him another few days of juice.
