Lucian this is no way to start off the new year. Christmas is over so take off that silly red Santa suit and head down to the lagoon. Autumn, Casey and Alska are waiting for you.

Much better big guy now lets hold it down there. You so can't let that new guy Casey show you up and steal your girl Autumn away from you. Plus blue and green looks much nicer with your silver coat.

OMG my nephew and his dog just left.
Poor cats been living in the bedroom and bath for over a week and now won't come out.
I love him and I was happy to see him for Christmas, but that was too long a visit. My limit is 3 days, after that I want you out and don't care who you are!
Visiting family members are like fresh fish, they both stink in 3 days!! I was ready to pull my hair out, besides the fact that he showed up broke and I had to buy his smokes along with $100 worth of groceries and gave his buddy, who brought him, $40 for gas to get home to his family in Myrtle Beach. His little holiday visit cost me over $200. I'll never see it, that's for certain, although he promises to send me $$. Yeah right. When pigs fly.
I am soooo glad to have my place back to myself!

One of the reasons when Jon and I talk about needing a bigger place I always tell him more land sure bigger house I'll pass I love having a one bedroom. No out of town guests. When I was living in Colorado I had a 4 bedroom on 10 acres. Since I lived alone all my family thought I would be delighted to have them stay with me whenever they decided to go skiing. Put a halt to that real quick, first this was when I still had my horses and company was never too pleased when morning came at 4:30 a.m. Nor were they enamoured with me hauling their hineys out of a warm bed to help feed and break open water troughs at that ungodly hour before I would feed them. lol Hey there are 20 horses, 7 dogs and 13 cats as well as various chickens, ducks and geese to feed and you are staying here free and eating what these animals supply (no I didn't eat them but did sell eggs and taught riding as well as the horses were used as trail horses in the summer) So up and at em this is a working ranch be glad I'm not charging you Dude Ranch rates for the pleasure of the experience. ohmygod_smile
Now they call about coming to see us I'm like "Great!! Do you want me to send you a list of close motels or would you like me to call in a reservation for you "
Cuz you can't stay here there is only one true bedroom and the cats have the "guest" room and they're not giving it up!!
