Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Bug and Lola are exhausted from all their New Years Day revelry, and all those football games! , but they still want to be working today so..... They have decided that today is TURN-AROUND TRIPLE THURSDAY! They are doing triples on everything! Kinda cool huh! They say that since Wacky Wednesday was so wacky, and full of football, and being New years day and all, that they wants to give all kitties some fun times today, triple funs! What will that be.... I dunno! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are complimentary....

I hope everyone had a wonderful News Years. Ours was great. It was a busy one, and I am exhausted still, but what a great time. I went out early for along walk and hike through the woods to the shore, and brought up a very nice sunset, one that wasn't really expected, as fog ruled when I woke up. The rest of the day was spent packing up Christmas, and returned in the house to normal. And watching football! SWEET! It was a great day. I hope it was the same for everyone else too. Here's what I wrote yesterday about the day: "Morning, and Happy New Year Everyone. I just came back from an early, very early morning trek to the shore. I had looked out the window about 7, and we were so foggy. I looked again at 7:05, and it was gone, the horizon to the East had this faint glow. so..... knew were were in for a nice morning sunrise (mobile upload). I grabbed my coat and hat and gloves, and ran down to the shore. Made it just in time. WOOT! It was so worth that sprint this morning.  What an awesome morning at Meadowdale. " Afternoons post: "Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a wonderful New Years Day. Immersed in football? Games on are here, for sure. The tree is down, much to Lola's dismay. She was so protective! MINE!!! was the battle cry. Every time I went to take something off of it she'd whack my hand, the message was clear: do that again and there shall be dismemberment.  Elsa escaped the the bedroom, Bug was patrolling the floor, looking for any more ornaments that were dropped. When I went to removed the tree skirt I found about 20 or so that were stashed under the skirt. Lola's Private reserve.... or maybe Bug! I suspect it was Lola. Well... now we wait to see what will replace her tree.....

This is what went down yesterday with each ornament removal... I ran out of bandaids!
Lola: MINE!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. I so wish it would stay that way.... ;-) I think they are all exhausted too from the excitement of the Christmas tree pack up.   Lola was so wound up yesterday, from the moment I brought out the boxes to put it all away. It just didn't stop. She made so many trips up that tree, trying to save it I am sure.... eventually she crashed in her rocker, only to resume the intensity level an hour later with several marathons, whack-a-thons, and a few roll and tumbles with Bug. Elsa was one laid back kitty. Nothing phased her yesterday. She'd look at the "kids" and promptly go and take nap. I think she had the right idea. Lola and Bug wore me out!  Kinda Normalcy in MusketeerVille for sure.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I will swim while the other grandparents watch William for a few hours for me. Nicholas has his swim evaluation today, to see what class he should be placed in , for swim lessons. I so hope he will not play the shy card, and will let these folks there "test" him. Wish us luck! We are due for a semi-sunny afternoon, cold, but maybe sunny. Right now it is raining so..... I hope they are right, and maybe we can go to a park in the afternoon, if it is warm enough. :-D I will try and visit condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Sounds like a crazy but fun day for you. Poor Lola and her tree. I know she will be on her best behavior until next year now. But she made it through her first Christmas with the tree still standing. Woohoo!!! Have a great day with the boys Michelle!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) that it was: crazy and fun. so far Lola really is on her best behavior... :-D :-D :-D  though I expect it is only a matter of time. I will give her credit - made all those climbs and jumps and circles within and that tree remained upright. it's almost like she knew f it went over there went her personal jungle. ;-) THX on today - it should be a good one. Back to the xrazy busy fun with the boys. SWEET!

ROFL I just love that video, Michelle! That's too cute! As I was watching it, I was just thanking the good Lord above for the fact that I have cats that don't do any tree climbing! I've had to downsize my tree from a 7.5' to a 6' as the old one was too tall, and I felt like I was going to fall into it everytime I put the tree topper on.

I hope that you had a wonderful day yesterday... A relaxing one after you've taken down Christmas. Now we wait another 11 months until the next Christmas' festivities, huh?

Gotta love that coffee drink treat! It sounds oh too sweet, but delicious just the same. :-D

I really cannot understand how the tree didn't fall over.   Lola found herself the prefect bean. :-D Do they move kids around, after the classes start, to get them in the right class? Have a great day, Michelle!
Liz

That is so funny, Lola defending the tree. She's going to miss that tree.

I hope things go well with Nicholas' evaluation for swimming class.

Hi Michelle,
Oh, poor Lola. She looks so devastated, trying to save "her" tree. You could always leave it up without the ornaments so she can climb in it??

I'm so glad that you had a terrific holiday week. Today's dash to see the sunrise was neat.

I hope that Nicholas' swim evaluation went well and that he will be in a class where he will learn lots. This is so exciting.

Have a fine evening. Thanks for your visits while we were busy. Sorry I missed so many of your condos. Please tell Elsa that her coffee was what got us through the New Year's Eve celebration!!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Aww poor Lola, trying to keep all her ornaments and tree! I guess she will be finding something new soon  ;-) Elsa is one smart cookie, to just go take a nap  Hope the swim went good, and you had a wonderful time :-D

HI everyone - I hope your day has been a good one. We have done well here. The weather is getting rather nasty tonight, lots of rains and winds. FUN! What to day on the day. we did ok. I will however be glad when Nicholas and William, are back in the groove: normal days, no late nights due to holiday stuff, no more overload.... That kid was so tired when I picked him up this morning, I knew what kind of day it would be. He had fun, but it was such a struggle for him. The pool went ok, considering the fatigue factor. The energizer fish was not energized today. He played alot, but ti was very subdued. ;-) we did not test today. He was way too tired on his part. He was all set when we got there, talked alot about it, but when it came time to do what he needed to do, it was a no go. Which is really ok. I kinda knew that is what I would get today, handwriting was on the wall when I picked him up this morning, he could barely keep his eyes open. We will try again in a few weeks, give him time to "recover" from the holidays and his birthday, and time to get to know who his testers(s) will be. so anyways.... we wait. I kinda felt bad for him. he so wanted to play at certain things, but just couldn't make it work. when it came time that we could use the big pool he was told that he couldn't have any toys in with him. that was the last straw. He sat down on the deck and just cried: tears of sadness.SO I picked him up, gave him some hugs, and home we went, down for a much needed nap. I will post the Picassa links tomorrow.

Hi Carla - Oh yes on Lola, I think she does miss it. It was fun to watch her defend her tree.  THX on Nicholas - but we ended up not testing today,. He was just to tired to deal with it all, so we will try again in a few weeks.

Hi Liz - I so know on that tree.... it should have toppled several times, but didn't. crazy! LOL on the prefect bean.... And yes on the swim classes, they do shuffle alot to get kids where they should be. We didn't do the test today, bummer, but he just couldn't deal with it all today. so we will try again alter so he can start lessons.

Hi Angela - Funny wasn't it? She has been an adventure this Christmas, for sure! She is my first tree climber. In all these years I have never had one that did, until now. Oh wow on your downsizing. Kinda how I felt putting the topped on mine. I am surprised that Lola, did remove that. I so know... now we wait another 11 months for the next go around! I wonder if Lola can stand the wait.
And right you are on the sweetness of those coffee drinks.... good, but ever so sweet!

Hi Ella - too funny on leaving the tree up. I have had several folks that told be I should do just that. I will have to come up with an alternative for her, as it is more than apparent that she really likes to climb. THX on the sunrise pics - the dash was so worth it. TH X too on Nicholas and the eval, but we didn't do it today. The craziness of the holidays and the late nights have taken their toll on him, and he was just way to tired today. He tried, but shyness won over, the fatigue, and a few tears. so we just decided to wait a few more weeks, when he is rested and truly ready to go. It is all so exciting to think that he is finally eligible to do all this. -- no worries on the condos. I know all too well how that goes.
Auntie Ella, AND Auntie Linda! You guys are so welcomes. I hope you liked by brews. It was so coo to meet Auntie Linda. Mannie told me about her and BearMan all the times! And Pinky too! And Ted! And Emily! I am so glads I was able to see her today. See you guys in the morning, 'K? ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Rachel - i know on Lola - she tried so hard to keep that thing up, and climbable. Oh yes on Elsa - that she is. She just looks at them and heads on down for nap. Smart girl indeed! THX on the swim, but we postponed. we will try again in a few weeks. Pool time was great though! FUN!
