All 5 P's in good shape this morning. Doodles has continues to be a bit of a booger. His new thing is I give him 2.5 oz of food, he eats an oz, walks away. I wait a few, pick it up, get a new can put more food in it of a different flavor and he eats it. I tell him about all the starving kitties out there and he needs to stop wasting food. I've yet to get him to eat any left overs. Doodles 1/1

I was confused at the very little drop from PM+2 to +4.5 last night. Looks like he's decided to change his nadir up a bit based on todays AMPS. Doesn't surprise me...he is the Doodles :cat:

Christmas stuff is down (he pouted about the tree yesterday) and I took 3 naps yesterday!

Have a good day everyone and extra scritches for all the kitties.
 
I always hated it when Furball did things like that because with a diabetic you have to make sure they eat. Silly kitty. Our kitties do like to keep us guessing.
 
Good start to the day for Doodles!
When Boomer walks away from his half eaten meal I can usually get him eating again by feeding him a bite off a fork. I try not to feed him more than one bite though. Somehow I guess the food tastes different from a fork lol:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Great start, Doodles! And it sounds like he has you well trained with his food preferences. ;)

Ha! I think we all know that frustration. Have you tried sprinkling a little "chicken dust" on the rejected food? Rosie will eat things she does not like very much if there are little powdery bits of Pure Bites dehydrated chicken on it. (I like Doodles' number today, though!)

He won't eat chicken but I do have the beef pure bites...he's not big on those either. I'm going to pick up some more parm cheese...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Such a finicky little eater. Give him kibble though and it's on :banghead:
 
Normal poop this morning and now at AM+ 5 a small amount of soft stools and only 1.4 oz wet & 1/2 tbsp. YA. Now that the holiday madness is over I'll be off to the holistic pet store to look at more food and order some of the ZiwiPeak to try out. :( His IBD is going to keep it challenging to get OTJ.
 
Made it to the real pet store and picked up Wellness & Weruva. He ate just under 2oz of the Wellness Chicken & Beef....hope his system likes it.
 
I hope you can find some wet food that Doodles likes and doesn't mess with his stomach. It makes FD that much harder to treat.
 
Vomit this evening but it was whole Wild Boar freeze dried treats not the Wellness food. Vomit and loose stools in the same day...my poor boy :(
 
Hope Doodles feels a little better- but overall sounds like he is doing great:) Trouble pulls the give me a different kind of food trick sometimes too. He doesn't like the Wellness but loves all the Weruva's.

We took our tree down today- Trouble didn't even seem to notice :)
