Doodles 1/1 A bit of NDW snuck in overnight so hope it goes away today. Otherwise no Doodles drama and all 5 P's are pretty much in place.

Need to make a trip to Diamondback for more Doodles meds tomorrow. The Enalapril needed refills from the cardio vet and hope they called it in. Worse case I pick up the Lasik tomorrow since there's only enough left for tonight and his tomorrow AM dose, and then have to go back on Wednesday for the Enalapril. A big Chewy order needs to be placed and the house needs a good cleaning.

ETA: My mom's physical therapist has a dog and I told her about Chewy and she was over the moon happy. She said the food she was buying was way less expensive on Chewy and she didn't need to carry it to and from her car. Love Chewy!

I've been a hermit with limited life outside for over a year. These meds can only be filled every 30 days which is annoying considering I had to use extra Lasix last month. Almost dropped the ball on Chewy...thank goodness for Autoship!

Doodles, keep it easy today. Sometimes I thought keeping track of the meds so I didn't run out was the hardest. I really have to get better at using chewy, I still tend to go to store and yet I have to go to 2 to get what I want. It seems the 2 common foods I use are getting harder to find. Thanks Purina.

Yay Doodles! That makes me happy to hear -except the meds excursion part of course. For a while I was always running low on Enalapril, Lasik and Plavix at different times and running over to the pharmacy multiple times per month. Thankfully the store was just up the street , but still...

Ever since they started adding samples of sugar free candy to my ADW orders, I am also a big fan of ordering from them. Last time, I got several bags soft caramels. Now let's hope that they will never find out that the strips are for my cats.

And I am very happy to hear that it's a better day for Sir Doodles!

Well isn't that nice of them Ugh, I have to give up my sweets to hopefully loose 10lbs that are very unwanted. Might have to invest in some sugar free candies myself.

Doodles has chased Moo a few times today and then gets wiped out. He just doesn't understand how exhausted it makes him

Me too which is why I do not understand why I made my famous chocolate peanut butter with sea salt fudge yesterday?? I am going to gift 1/2 lb for gifts to friends that I will be seeing this week. What the heck do I do with the other lb???

Can you freeze it in single pieces and take one out when you REALLY need one? My glass of wine doesn't help either but it keeps me somewhat sane and it's better than anxiety meds.

HA on the wine! Yes, here's what I do, I put a serving size in an icetray cubicle and freeze. Once they are frozen, I pop the little icecubes of cat food out and I put them in a freezer bag. They will stay separate if you do it this way and then I take out the amount of serving cubes that I need to put into the feeder.

Don't freeze the fudge! Eat fudge and drink wine! Nightly.....ever since my doc RX me anxiety drugs (because she would rather me get addicted to those rather than alcohol) I haven't taken one yet. Guess I like my nightly cocktail more. BUT, if the meds don't cause weight gain, I'm in and bye bye cocktails.......

ETA: got this thread and the other one about auto feeders mixed up but do not mix up wine and frozen.cat food!

This thread made me LOL. I haven't had alcohol in, I don't know how long, 6-8 months? And I am scared to death to drink or take any meds that could make me any more tired/sleepy than I already am . I think I took 1/2 Xanax going to bed when Gizmo's numbers decided to plummet right before Christmas.

All this talk about wine and chocolate makes me thirsty and hungry. I told my DD and half the world I'd be serious about getting all this FD weight I put on over last summer. So I'm not able to enjoy any of the things that got me to where I am today. I did manage to get 10lbs off over the holidays. Another 50 to go..... how did I ever eat that much??????

I gained a TON of weight this summer with Osha racing down the dosing scale. I am currently at my heaviest weight ever. FD does not look good on me. Maybe I do need meds instead of this glass of wine.
