Hello all. Not much to see here yet, sigh :YMSIGH: The +2 went down a teensy bit? Yesterday, went up tiny bits: flat pink/red/pink cat...Chyna 1/1

The new fuds are a hit! I hope to see NO allergic reaction...so far she's had 2 of her 10 mini meals with the new one. Will be having a few more today/tonight to stagger them in :-D

Chyna left me 4 good sized prezzies sometime this morning...just outside the litter box on the mat. She usually gets those inside, but once in a blue moon she underestimates where the end of the box is :roll: Ah well at least we have poo, and easy to clean on a mat! She's still doing all her P's, but is not moving around much.

We did have a teensy amount of catnip last night (well, she did :lol: ) when she discovered I had opened the drawer I keep it in to get something else she plopped herself at my feet and looked hopeful. I'm a bad bean, to forget to do that once in a while. We had a nice petting session after :-D She was drinking from her fountain yesterday...which I rarely see.

I tried BTB and fell asleep right before the +2 alarm :-x Chyna has had her second breffis and is sleeping on the bathroom mat. I may go to the chiropractor today, if I can get in...

Edit: Marje taught me how to use photobucket, so I added a few of the snow pics, since some couldn't see still :-D The vehicles and driveway were cleaned off Dec 29th...this is Dec 31st.

I hope Chyna keeps sliding down today. Sorry about the poo on the litter mat, but at least it was easy to clean up.

Chyna, now you know there is nothing to see up on those floors so come back down sweetie. Sorry you need to see the chiropractor, that's no fun for whatever reason. How old is Chyna and also, sorry if I missed it but what new fuds are you giving her that seem to be a hit?

Thanks Carla, I'm hoping to keep seeing yellow, and maybe some blue...green seems far away but maybe soon...I'm just glad she's pooping :lol:

Hi Lauren! I got Chyna from the SPCA and they estimated her to be 3-5 then, so she's 14-16 years old. I actually loooove my chiro, I've had a bad back since I fell off a slide when I was 10, and my job is a lot of heavy lifting so I usually see him for maintenance every month. The snow shovelling the other day put it out :sad: He fit me in for this afternoon ;-)

Sorry, I mentioned fuds somewhere in yesterdays condo, Chyna has food allergies (all of them undetermined but one that is almost for sure is chicken) and has been on all Lamb since last May other than her treats which are lamb or fish based. I'm now introducing one protein at a time to test them starting with beef. The new fuds are Weruva Steak Frites, which I could finally get in Canada! and are lower calorie than I'd like so they wouldn't be exclusive, but much lower phosphorus which do I like so I'm hoping it can be on a food rotation! If she can tolerate beef, it gives me more food options, please Chyna? Yesterday she looked and sniffed at it, then slurped a few bites and looked at it, then cleaned the plate several times over :lol: Maybe she was so sick of lamb she'd slurp up anything :o

Yay for yellow! :-D :-D Keep going, Chyna. Paws crossed for the food. And of course Detective Poo is always glad to see a good report. :lol: I'm glad you got into the chiro this afternoon.

Hi Rachel! It's good to hear the new food is still popular with Chyna! The pet food store must have been getting pretty sick of seeing me when I was trying to find something appropriate for Papaya to eat - it can sure be a battle :roll: Have a great evening!

Hi Amy, I think the stores know me now too, haha. It is hard to find a good food balanced for all the things we need :roll: Some non prescription company would make a mint, if they focused on diabetic and CKD kitties and making GOOD foods for those!

Well, we're back to pink :sad: I'm hoping it's a short stay and we see some more yellow or blue. We did just have a little bit of puke an hour ago, but there was a small ball of hair in it so I'm hoping just a hairball and not a reaction to any fuds :shock: She had the last meal of the new food 6 hours earlier tho...guess I'll watch and see!

I tried researching for some better priced needles after seeing your post from yesterday, but no luck.
So good to hear Chyna is liking the new fuds! I am completely frustrated with canned foods and my multiple kitty aversions to anything other than super high phosphorous :roll: The price is a huge killer, but then to have them not eat any of the 'better' brands is just so 'harumphing'!
Chyna you keep being an awesome girl for your mamabean. Now get outta that pink mess and back into some healthier zones :-D

I agree - it is SO hard to find fuds for CKD/FD kitties! Unfortunately Trix doesn't like beef...giving us even few options. A chicken allergy is definitely an added challenge, so hopefully working the steak into the rotation will be good for Chyna!

Keep working that juice, Chyna...back to the yellow floor (and maybe some blues or greens, too)! Have a great night, Rachel!

So, I guess Chyna and Champ have decided the party is on the third floor....pink anyone?!!! I'm going to try new juice tomorrow and if that doesn't work, dosecrease!! I hope Chyna continues to enjoy her fuds. I'm very lucky that Champ is anything BUT a picky eater. He'll eat ANYTHING, as proven by his lily snack a bit ago!!

She just wanted us to hope for a bit :-D I'm glad the new fuds are so far, so good. I hope she continues to do well on them.

I think it's still too icky for you to go out ;-) and bummer on the btb.....when you are so tired and lay back down and can't go back to sleep until right before the alarm goes off....... :o
 
Thanks Kim, that's so sweet to price check for me :-D The food is pretty costly that I'm on too, but at least Chyna eats pretty much anything, she just can't with her allergies :roll: . These pinks and reds are breaking my heart :sad:

Hi Amy, yes chicken eliminates a lot of fuds (half the foods not called chicken have them in it!). Too bad on the beef for Trixie :sad: I don't think much juice working is going on, but I will point out to Chyna that LL is telling her to :-D

Sorry Patty, Chyna left the pink floor party for the red...and I don't want anyone to join her there :shock: I'm lucky that Chyna will eat mostly anything too...she's just not allowed, poor girl. Except Evo...she liked it for a bit, till she tried other brands...then nose went up and fuds were barely touched :roll: I hope Champ works that juice for you ;-)

Hi Marje, I think hope has left the building tonight :evil: I hate the being exhausted and not sleeping too! I will tell work on Monday when I am to go back that you think it's too icky to go :lol:

I think Chyna gets a poke free rest of her night now...we had a rough time getting that +2. Poor girl isn't feeling good at these numbers...and I'm helpless :cry: Maybe tomorrow...I really need this to break on my vacation, she needs to co-operate ohmygod_smile I hope all the kittehs are hitting better floors than we are! Sleep well, LL.
