Good morning LL...although what's good about it I'm not quite sure yet..other than China's nice blue AMPS I guess. I like that!

We went from mid 40's yesterday to 2 this morning...Yes TWO.and the wind is howling on top of it. Wind chill is -15 and we got several inches of snow too. The "high" today is only supposed to be 11!
And of course I have to go out in it because it's pain clinic day. Still trying to make up my mind if I should go the "longer" way around which may be clearer but will have more crazy people driving on it, or take my usual route which doesn't have the crazy people but is definitely a "back road" so lots of curves and no shoulders.

I'm hoping China does well today since I will be gone most of it. She usually does just great but that doesn't mean I won't worry!

Hope everyone is safe and warm today!

Good luck with the drive, I hope it went well and safe for you. I hear you on the worrying about kitty when you're gone ;-) China looks lovely, and maybe she will do a nice green (safe) surf for you today? Have a good one!

Made it home safe and sound, but boy, driving on ice covered roads takes a lot out of you! I feel like I've gone 15 rounds with Mike Tyson.

China's having a blast with the huge paper bag I brought home from the specialty pet store. I don't know why, but all my kitties seem to really love those bags. It looks like a plain paper bag with handles on it..nothing particularly special, so I don't know what the mystique is....unless maybe their paper bags smell like their store. It's a specialty pet store that also bakes a lot of drooler treats. When you go in, it looks like you just walked into a human bakery with beautiful treats in the showcases..except everything there is safe for droolers

I sure hope that now that the holidays are over and Mom's feeling so much better, that things will calm down. It's been a very stressful 2013. We'll be moving mom back to Assisted Living soon, and once that's over with, things should return to somewhat normal......at least for a little while. I still have to go see the orthopedic surgeon to see if I'm going to need knee replacement surgery, and if I do, I don't know what I'm going to do. I have too many others depending on me right now to be able to take 6 weeks "off" to have something like that done

Thanks for the visits today and I hope everyone has had a great Fursday!
